The Grande Sports Academy coaching staff possesses a wealth of
playing and coaching experience, elevating our campers to the highest
level. Our coaches are committed and dedicated to championship
caliber youth development, with campers benefiting from their vast
experience and devotion to improving the campers’ skills.
Grande Sports Academy residential camps offer an unforgettable
experience and are a great opportunity for young soccer players aged
10 – 17 to not only improve their skills on the field but also learn about
the importance of teamwork, sportsmanship and commitment. Players
also have the opportunity to meet a number of young players from
all over the world who share the same enthusiasm for the beautiful
game of soccer and build life-long friendships.

Grande Sports Academy is located on the campus of the
$20 million Grande Sports World complex in Casa Grande,
Arizona, just 45 minutes from Phoenix International Airport.
Grande Sports World has quickly become one of the finest
soccer training facilities in the country and serves as a training
destination for the top youth, professional and national teams from
around the globe. The U.S. Soccer Federation has named Grande
Sports World the West Conference’s Best Training Facility for
two consecutive years (2013 & 2014).
Grande Sports Academy, home of the nationally recognized
Real Salt Lake-Arizona Academy, is the only full time residential
academy affiliated with a MLS team – Real Salt Lake. The
Academy concentrates on developing highly competitive soccer
players to become outstanding young men both on and off
the field.
Grande Sports Academy offers focused residential camps
throughout the year where campers play on professionally
manicured fields, train in the 58,000 square feet state of the
art performance center and are challenged each and every day
to improve technically, tactically, physically and mentally while
having fun.

Grande Sports Academy has built an organization that sets the bar for performance, winning the
2013 USSDA U-15/16 National Championship and producing only one of three teams in the
country to reach the USSDA Playoffs every year since 2011 in both the U-15/16 and U-17/18 age
groups. Grande Sports Academy has developed a well-respected, award-winning, successful style
of attractive attacking soccer. This culture of success, professional atmosphere and approach to
training and competition is what Grande Sports Academy coaches and players call learning to “play
the championship way” and following the club’s mantra: As One.
GSA camps provide a competitive playing and learning environment where players receive
instruction and direction from former professional players and experienced championship coaches,
addressing all four dimensions of the game:
1.Technical Sessions will provide professional training
that incorporates the technical side of the game (passing,
receiving, dribbling, crossing, finishing, 1v1 defending,
etc.), avoiding repetitive & monotonous activities.
2.Tactical Players are put in game-like situations,
answering questions produced during the exercises.
With guidance from the coaches, we look to increase the
player’s soccer IQ, raising their ability to “read the game”.
3.Physical Three-a-day sessions are organized to ensure
that the player’s aerobic base is increased, while
simultaneously safeguarding against over-exertion.

4.Psychological The residential aspect of the camp
emulates the full-time academy setup, encouraging
the player to become more independent, disciplined
and mature while doing so in a safe and structured

*After an initial three day period of intense training, players get some much
