Call for Artists
Paint Out at Lake Quivira
(West Side of the Kansas City Area)
Lake Quivira is a gated residential community surrounding a
beautiful lake and golf course. We have been invited to host a
two day paint out as well as the opportunity to exhibit finished
artwork.
Paint Out Highlights:
• The paint out will be on Saturday, June 6th , 7:00a – 5:00p
with opportunity to paint the lake, beach, boats, nature,
equestrian area, unique homes and much more.
• There will be a second paint out day on Monday, June 8th,
7:00a – 5:00p. The golf course will be closed on Monday to
golfers and open to artists. This will be a great opportunity
to paint and photograph a golf course. The Garden Club is
very active in providing plenty of beautiful garden areas as
well.
• Lake Quivira has a rotating art exhibit in their club house
on a quarterly basis. Finished artwork from this paint out
will be able to participate in the Paint Out exhibit starting
the first of October. The artwork must depict images of the
Lake Quivira community. There will also be an art reception.
• Proceeds from artwork sold during the exhibit will be
distributed 85% to the artist and 15% to the Lake Quivira
Art Club.
This paint out will have a wide variety of beautiful scenery
and topics. Even more exciting will be the opportunity to
exhibit your talent to the residents and others who will
appreciate scenes from their own community.
