What is The Dual Flow?
The DUAL FLOW has the unique ability to be used either as an
EBB and FLOW system or as an Nutrient Film Technique (NFT)
system, simply by rearranging the components supplied with the kit.
How does it work?
The Dual Flow is 1180mm (46") long x 480mm (19") wide x
305mm (12") high when used as a single all in one system.
Additional trays can be purchased and up to 5 can be placed
around the 80 litre tank in NFT mode. Our tanks can also be
joined together using our tub fittings range.
The Tank has a 40 litre capacity when used as an integral system
but this is increased to 80 litres when using in NFT mode with the
additional externally placed trays.
Support additional tanks at the correct height by using our Addon-Tray Eazi Stand Kit.
The units are made from impact resistant 4mm think ABS and are
fully machined and drilled ready to use.
Note: Additional 13mm pipe, tees and elbows will be required to
expand the system. An uprated pump may also be necessary.
We recommend SICCE pumps for use with the DUAL FLOW.
In the EBB and FLOW mode, the system requires less maintenance and can easily be left for several days without worry or
adjustment. Once you have mastered this more forgiving
method of hydroponics why not switch the DUAL FLOW to NFT
mode and experience faster growth rates and have the ability to
expand your system with an additional 4 trays. A total of 1.6
square metres (16 square feet) of growing area is achieved when
using a total of 5 trays.
Add 13cm square pots and Fleximix blocks or 3" or 4" cubes to
use in the Ebb and Flow mode. Use with fleximix cubes or net
pots in the NFT mode.
The units are supplied with a 4mm thick Correx cover that is used
to protect your plants roots from unwanted light and possible
contamination.
All trays, tanks and correx covers are available separately.
