Useful tips
- Install your safe in a place which is not easily accessible by burglars.
Key versions:
- if one of the two supplied keys is lost, replace the lock or duplicate the
remaining key.
Versions with electronic combination lock:
- regularly change the code;
- avoid using personal information as codes (e.g. date of birth, telephone
number etc.);
- check the low battery warning lights and replace the batteries when
necessary;
- keep the emergency power cable outside of the safe.

There’s an ideally suitable CISA safe for every location. A complete range of solutions is available, offering
top security for your valuables. Safes can be classified in 2 main groups: wall safes and free-standing safes.
Wall safes must be installed into a wall and therefore need sufficiently thick walls (at least 10 cm thicker
than the safe width).

Standing safes can be installed in any room: this is the ideal solution to avoid masonry work or in case
walls are not thick enough to install a wall safe. Standing safes must be fixed either to the wall and/or to
the floor by using suitable rawl bolts. All CISA safe types guarantee top reliability and meet any special
requirement, at home or at your workplace.

Each parameter is reflected in a histogram worked out by CISA for each one of its safes. The score (from min
1 to max 5) indicates the level of performance of each individual safe. The score referred to each parameter
contributes to calculating the final, average parameter. The higher the score, the better that safe performance.
It is possible to make a choice based on either individual parameters or average scores. For instance, users
requiring a high security safe can check this specific parameter only, looking for the highest scores. While if a
high security safe with high user-friendliness is required, the average score can be checked.

Darwin is the fruit of an innovative, practical
installation concept. Safes can be built into walls at
any time during building or renovation works, leaving
the owner or tenant free to decide when to fit the
faceplate and achieve CISA’s trademark reliability
and security. After installing the safe compartment,
the faceplate can be assembled later on, without
any additional masonry work. The faceplate can be
supplied either with a Double Bitted key or the DGT
electronic combination lock.
