INTRODUCTION
Welcome to the 2010 FIFA World Cup Champions, 2008
& 2012 UEFA European Champions: The Royal Spanish
Football Federation. The governing body of soccer in Spain
is organizing its international summer soccer camp again
in 2015.
This Soccer camp is aimed at boys from10 to 16 years
old who are looking to improve their physical and technical
performance through soccer programs based on the
latest methods conducted by professional RFEF coaches.
The camp training sessions will be based on technical and
tactical work applied in game situations. Players are
assigned to small groups to get the best one on one
approach with the coaches (different levels of soccer
practices during the camp based on player’s level
established on the first day of camp). The camp size is
limited to give the opportunity for each player to have a
better individual coaching session. Specific goalkeeper
practice will be available during all sessions.

LOCATION
The Spanish Soccer Federation International Technification Soccer Camp will be located on the magnificent
sports complex of the “La Ciudad del Fútbol”, home of the
Spanish National Soccer Teams. The facilities include
double, triple, and quad bedrooms (with onsite bathrooms,
air conditioning, TV), restaurant, cafeteria, 5 soccer fields
(3 grass and 2 artificial), in addition to an outdoor
swimming pool, a fitness center, a jogging track, and a
covered pavilion sports complex.
Meals are prepared under dietetic control for the
professional soccer player and are elaborated by the
same chefs who make them for the Spanish National
Soccer Teams players.
The language course classrooms are next to the sports
facilities and are also attached to the residence halls
where the students will be staying. Students will be
monitored and supervised at all times by the federation
staff or the English teachers during the activities.

The Ciudad del Fútbol facilities will have private security
day and night. Soccer campers will stay onsite during the
entire camp except during the excursions.
The well being of all children at the Spanish Soccer
Federation International Soccer sessions is of paramount
importance, therefore parents are not allowed on campus
during the sessions. RFEF feels this will allow the children
to settle into the Residential lifestyle and maintain their
safety and security.
Parents cannot stay at the Residence at La Ciudad del
Fútbol during their child camp session, but we are able to
provide different options for parents to stay near the
residence.

DETAILS
The soccer course will be comprehensive, covering all
elements of the game including techniques, skills, phases
of play and small-sided games. On the first day, groups are
established based on age and ability. Excursions are
zplanned during your stay and may include visits to great
attraction parks in the Madrid area, a visit of Santiago
Bernabeu Stadium or Vicente Calderon Stadium, and a
visit to the Museum of the Spanish National Soccer Team
with the 2010 FIFA World Cup Trophy Room. Day and
Night activities will include tennis table, pool table,
swimming pool, soccer video games, movies, Spanish or
English activities, etc.

The soccer coaches are all highly qualified staff from the
RFEF and are, therefore, specialists in sport formation.
They will teach participants how to improve their style but
most importantly they will teach them how to work and
play as a team.
Some coaches will come from the Youth Teams of the
Spanish National Football Federation and will bring years
of experience from the Spanish National Youth Teams.
During the camp you will have technical preparation drills
(ball control, ball recuperation, defense, attack, shot,
passes, etc.), tactical preparation drills (1 on 1, defense vs.
offense, game system, style of play, etc.), and physical
preparation (injury prevention, development of basic physical qualities thru specific training, etc.).

Physical Fitness Assessment: Report results obtained from
the physical tests performed by the students
Tournaments
Technical and Tactical Single Attack: Shot, control and ball
control
Technical and Tactical Single Defensive: Marking,
interception, diversion, tackles, clearance, and shots
Technical and Tactical Collective Attack: Changes in
direction, support, clearing, timing, movement of ball,
occupation of open spaces, and game strategy
Technical and Tactical Collective Defensive: Defensive
strategy, corners, retreats, offside, and side game
Specific Goalkeepers in the Morning
Displacement and position, interceptions, saves, shots,
offensive throws, agility, coordination, and speed reaction

The camp offers an optional transfer service. This service costs
100€ and consists of a supervisor collecting your child from
Madrid-Barajas airport and taking them to the camp (and vice

To book a place on the Royal Spanish Football Federation camp,
it is necessary transfer to GSM’s bank account a deposit
corresponding to 50% of the total amount of the camp.
