This patch program celebrates 100+ years of Girl Scouting and the
people who have made our Girl Scout Council a success.
SARAH HAZARD NOMAR MUSEUM PATCH
Discover the history of Girl Scouts of Rhode Island and Southeastern New England! Visit the
Sarah Hazard Nomer Museum opened in 1990 in House-by-the-Side-of-the-Road at Camp
Hoffman. A Museum Committee manages of the collections and docents conduct
scheduled tours.

COASTAL CLOSEUP
Visit the beach! Look closely along the shoreline for debris such as shells, pebbles, plants,
bottles, beach glass, and decaying matter. Share your discoveries with the group while
you complete requirements for this patch.

SOCIETY OF DECORATIVE PAINTERS PATCH
This patch program is designed to help girls learn about the Society of Decorative
Painters (SDP). Girls along with a member of SDP will try their hands at being a
decorative painter. This program is for all levels of Girl Scouting.
FORT ADAMS TUNNEL RAT PATCH
Attention future tunnel rats! To complete the Fort Adams tunnel rat
program and become an official Fort Adams tunnel rat you must:
listen to your tour guide, read the forts signs carefully and answer the
questions in the booklet you will be given.
