2015 GYMNASTICS SUMMER CAMP
CMU gymnastics camp provides championship-quality instruction for
students at all levels, from beginning to advanced with sessions for high
school gymnasts and USAG levels 3 through 10 and elite.
Gymnastics Camp
Sunday-Wednesday, June 21-24 • Grades 4-College Freshman
Boarding - $395; Commuting - $300; One-Day Commuting - $100
Participants receive six hours of specialized gymnastics instruction daily, in
addition to strength and flexibility conditioning in the 11,000-square-foot
Rose Center gymnastics facility.
The facility is equipped with:
• Seven beam stations
• Three vault stations
• Floor exercise area with four pit areas
• Six bar stations
• Two trampolines
• A 60-foot Tumbl Trak
What to bring
CMU provides equipment and a camp shirt. Be sure to bring appropriate
clothing and athletic tape. Leotards are preferred. Other items to consider
bringing include a swimsuit and towel.
Jerry Reighard
Head coach
•He has guided 15 teams to MidAmerican Conference titles, while
earning nine MAC Coach of the Year
honors.
•He was named the 2003 NCAA Central
Region Coach of the Year after leading
the Chippewas to a second-place finish
at the NCAA Regionals.
•Coached 70 MAC individual champions
and 12 NCAA Central Region
Championship qualifying teams.
Christine MacDonald
Associate head coach
•She has been an assistant coach for
the Chippewas for 23 seasons. She
has been a part of all but one of the
Chippewas’ 15 championships - three
as an athlete and 12 as a coach.
•Under the guidance of MacDonald,
CMU has produced the Mid-American
Conference balance beam champion
nine of the past 17 years.
•Coached three individual NCAA
Regional Balance Beam Champions and
three NCAA National Qualifiers in 2014.

Assistant coach
•Joined the program in 2014
•Prior to CMU, coached at Devlin
Gymnastics as a USAG Women’s
Coach in his hometown. At Devlin, he
developed daily workout assignments
for levels 5-10.
•Completed at Illinois, winning a Big Ten
and NCAA team championship in 2012.
