Purpose:

marketing in the digital age. You’re excited by the words and the power of communication, and
the worlds of social media and web development. You keep your ear to the ground to stay aware
of the latest social and digital trends.
Eligibility:
 Between 15 and 30 years of age
 Have been registered as a full-time student in the previous academic year and intend to
return to school on a full-time basis in the next academic year
 Are a Canadian or permanent resident, or have official refugee protection status under
the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (international students are not eligible)
 Are legally entitled to work in Canada, according to Alberta legislation and regulations
What you will do:
 Create compelling content for website and email distribution
 Assist in curating content for social media and managing multiple accounts
 Research and assist in developing a comprehensive digital marketing strategy
 Assist in conducting market research
 Assist in compiling and analyzing statistics for digital and social campaigns
Qualifications:
 Ability to think critically and generate original ideas
 Self-starter – you know how to work independently and bring your ideas to a team
 Ability to adapt and be flexible to a fluid work environment
 Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
 Experience in various content management systems, including Wordpress
 Skills in the Adobe suite – primarily Photoshop and InDesign
 Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
