CLASS III
Dear children,
We are sure that all of you must be enjoying your holidays. You must have
started making plans to visit your grandparents, relatives and friends,
watching television during the day.
Taking a dip in the swimming pool and joining some activity classes
with your friends.
We wish that you enjoy everyminute of this long break with your
family and friends.
It will be great if you are able to find time to visit museums and
monuments,learnnew things, explore new areas near your house.
Play indoor and outdoorgames .
Read as many story booksas you can ,help your parents and
Grandparents.
Go for morning walk and play in the park in the eveningsduring
your longsummer break.
We are giving you a variety of fun-filled activities which you can
do during the noon time. Do them neatly and submit the holiday homework
to your teachers after the vacation.

ENGLISH
1.Books are a man’s best friend and One is never alone when one is with books.
You could go off to faraway places, meet all kinds of people, animals, birds and

contribution .In helping your mother/father and paste them in a holiday
homework notebook. Write 3-4 lines for each activity saying why you like
doing it.
2. Do 20 pages writing in a holiday homework notebook.

3. Repeat it 20 times and if you get the same numbers again then pick another chit.

4.Revise the Tables from 2 to 15 and write it twice a week in a holiday home work
note book .
5. With the help of 3D shapes, make one model (Means of Transport orParkscene ).

1. Make a collage of living things on a scrap book .
2. Write good eating habits on a chart.
3.Visit to any Bank or Post Office in holidays. Write few lines about them .
4.Make a beautiful folder with waste material.
Sky show
Make your own sky show and do a sky show at night. Follow these steps
a) Take an empty can. Remove the lid.
b) Turn the can upside down. Make some holes in it using hammer and nail.
c) Hold the can and put the torch inside the can.
d) Put off the light of room
e) Shine the torch on the ceiling. The stars will appear in sky.
5) Collect different types of pulses. Stick them in an attractive pattern. You may even
colour some rice grains and stick them to make a colourful collage in a scrap file.
6)“Be a Green Ambassador”
a) Make a promise to preserve “Mother Nature”.
b) Collect pictures from old magazines and newspapers.
c) Make a collage on a full size coloured chart paper on “Mother Nature”.
d) Give a suitable slogan to your collage.

Read newspaper daily and write ten current affairs according to the roll no.
