HSAC Video Class Schedule What are video classes? During non-instructed classes, a video will automatically come on for you to drop in and get your work out in. Small Studio Video Class Descriptions: Reach™ - Kari Anderson Cycling Studio Rock the Climb! - Jocelyn Paoli 50 min. This intense cycle workout focuses on Climbing Threshold Training. This 45 minute workout will include two climbs, each 15 min. It takes leg strength and endurance combined with mental determination to tackle these hills. Each ascent contains steady state climbing and explosive attacks (surges). Challenge your resistance ride to breathlessness. The flat between the climbs is quick and challenging adding needed recovery. Don’t hold back, ride to the edge on the wings of with great tunes -- and Rock the Climb! Cycle Training: From Today to Race Day – Stacy Munn 60 min. Fire Power - High Intensity Interval Training to challenge and improve VO2 Max. After a 15minute warm-up that increases in intensity, we work a series of 0:60 efforts above threshold with 0:30 recoveries. Interval Ride - Improve your anaerobic capacity and lactate clearance with intervals ranging from 0:15 to 0:60. Finish the ride with a hill climb that gets progressively tougher, then bring it home on a fast, flat road. Cycle Cardio Burn: Party Ride! – Sue Berger 55 min. Sue has put together a "party ride" with a variety of her crowd favorites sure to have you burning calories and having fun. This ride has a variety of speed and climbing drills set to great music and inspiring energy. If you want an energetic ride that keeps you moving, sweating and testing your limits. This ride is for you! 60 min. A fusion of ballet-inspired exercises and fitness training; Strength, Flexibility, Balance/Stability designed to challenge the entire body. Intense but achievable body shaping exercises from standing to floor, using inspiring music for a fluid pace. Similar to our HSAC Barre classes. Equipment* - Mat Kari Burn – Kari Anderson 75 min. A faster paced, dance-inspired aerobic workout designed for the advanced member who loves a mental-physical challenge. This workout choreography was presented by Kari at The IDEA World Fitness Convention, attracting nearly 10,000 fitness professionals from around the world. Cardio Funk – Megan Adams 50 min. Features a high-energy aerobic fusion of jazz and hip-hop, Megan integrates her years of professional experience in the dance/performance world into one fun, effective, soul-lifting workout. Cardio Funk will take you to new levels in your dance abilities without missing one beat of this fat-burning, bodyshaping workout. Combining easy to learn sequences, various dance techniques, and an affirming atmosphere there is nowhere else you will want to be. Work it…work it ALL! Dance Club – Medora Cesarano 60 min. Superior choreography and top-notch instructing! These workouts are designed for those who love to dance, whether beginner or professional. Music is the hottest top-forty to old school hip-hop and members are hooked, feeling like they just participated in their own music video. Latin HipHop – Shannon Gowens 60 min. A hot fusion of Latin dance and hip-hop. Enjoy a variety of rhythms including salsa, cumbia, and flamenco mixed with modern dance moves. Try not to smile as you shimmy and shake your way through this workout!
