oting was fast and furious at www.harfordbaby.org, as
relatives, loved ones and interested on-lookers cast their
votes for Harford's Most Beautiful Baby. Moms are
competing for more than bragging rights, as this title
comes with a hefty prize package, including one year of day care from
Celebree Learning Centers. This contest is so popular, voters crashed
the server one year, when a multitude of people tried voting during
a lunch break. Nothing could have prepared us for the incredible
number of voters we had last year. This year, Harford Family House
in partnership with WSI Web Specialists have gone to great lengths
to prevent the site from crashing again, so vote for your favorite
beautiful baby often.
On Saturday, May 9, Harford’s Most Beautiful Baby for 2015 will be
crowned at the Fallston Celebree! For the sixth year in a row, our judges
including: Tammy Ehrbaker, NVS Salon; Dr. Jeffrey Horowitz, Plastic
Surgery; Lance Hersh, Saxon’s Diamond Centers; Stathis Kotanidis,
Pat’s Pizzeria and Deb McCollum, Jones Junction, will have the most
difficult decision to make ...which of all of the beautiful babies in
Harford County will be named Harford’s Most Beautiful Baby! The
crowning of the Most Beautiful Baby will be the culmination of the
day long festivities at the Fallston Celebree.

Throughout the day there will be family friendly entertainment as well
as a Baby Crawl Contest and the naming of the winners of the MotherDaughter, Father-Son and Parent-Child Look Alike Contests. Judges
for the look alike contests are volunteer representatives of some of our
other sponsors, including: Bill Siegmund of Mars, Barbara Brenner
of Shoprite, Jaclyn Molino of My Gym, Jeff Harrison of WSI Web
Specialists and Sharon Perfetti of the Stories Between.
Over the past 5 years this event has raised close to $60,000 to benefit
the homeless families and children served by Harford Family House.
This translates into 2,400 nights of shelter, support and resources
for homeless mothers, fathers, and children (just over a year for 3
families of two people), providing them with the means to transition
into permanent, stable housing and hope for a brighter future. Over

the years this event has grown from just 40 babies participating
in the first year to more than 200 babies. None of this would have
been possible without the support of Celebree Learning Centers, our
Title Sponsor for the fourth year this year, Jones Junction, our media
sponsor, Titanium Sponsor and Judge Sponsor, Rosedale Federal
Savings and Loan Association, our Titanium Sponsor, and all of our
many other sponsors who have provided both financial support and
in-kind donations for the fabulous prize packages, including Anni Oh
Photography, Mars and APGFCU.
Many of the past contest winners have continued to support HFH,
and we have had the joy of watching them “grow up”. We thought you
might enjoy seeing “Where They are Now” as they grow from beautiful
babies to beautiful children, all with the help of their parents of course,
especially their beautiful moms. Speaking of moms, check out our
partner contest Makeover Mom, sponsored by NVS Salon, Merle
Norman and Dr, Horowitz plastic surgeon, all of whom prepared our
beautiful children and moms for this photo shoot. We also appreciate
the support of Tiny Toes, Tiger Lily and photographer, Lindsay Parks.
