5 REASONS TO VOTE
CONSERVATIVE ON 22ND MAY
1. Council Tax Freeze
No council tax rise this year, or for the next 4 years under a Conservative council.
Labour increased council tax and gave Harrow the 3rd highest council tax in London.
The Lib Dems failed to support a council tax freeze.
2. Cleaning up Harrow Weald
More street cleaning, grass cutting and hedge trimming across Harrow Weald from
the new Conservative council. Plus a new ‘Blitz Team’ to tackle problem areas.
Labour cut funding for three years, neglecting many areas. We are working hard to clear the backlog.
3. Ban on spitting and littering
We are making a new byelaw to fine people who spit and litter in public places.
No other party has been able to tackle this problem.
4. Support for Neighbourhood Champions
We have revived the popular Neighbourhood Champions scheme. There are now
over 1,000 champions across Harrow and we aim to have one on every street.
Labour neglected the scheme and now wants to scrap it. The Lib Dems have failed to support it.
5. 20 min free parking
This is being introduced across Harrow’s high streets to help residents and traders.
Whilst other parties talk about free parking, we are the only ones to deliver it.
Only a Conservative council can deliver a Cleaner, Safer & Fairer
Harrow Weald. Voting for other parties could let Labour back in.

council is run. They can’t win in Harrow but voting
for them could let a Labour council back in.
