In Seattle, Hart Crowser hired Aaron Wisher as GIS Specialist/Geologist, Nicole Campbell as geotechnical engineer, Michael Pagel as environmental geologist, Jamalyn Green as an environmental engineer, Amy McMillin and Hunter Smoak as field geologists, and Anita Wahler as editor. Andrew Makdisi and Abbas Ganji are geotechnical interns from the University of Washington. Wisher has fifteen years of experience in GIS analysis for projects in marine, urban, and remote areas. He has worked for the US Navy and the Washington State Departments of Ecology and Natural Resources. Campbell received her MS in civil (geotechnical) engineering from Colorado State University and is supporting the Mukilteo Ferry redevelopment and a high‐rise design. Pagel has nine years of experience with geotechnical and environmental projects, and is supporting projects for the Washington State Department of Ecology and Seattle City Light. Green has five years of experience and recently earned her MS from the University of Washington. She has completed projects for Chevron and will continue to work with industrial clients at Hart Crowser. McMillin has an MS in geology from the University of Idaho, as well as experience as a US Forest Service wildland firefighter. She is working on the Second and Pine high‐rise in downtown Seattle. Smoak has three years of experience with geotechnical construction oversight. He is working on the 1007 Stewart Street high‐rise in downtown Seattle. Wahler has a BS in biology and environmental studies with an emphasis in journalism, plus more than 25 years of experience including technical writing, coaching of writers, editing, and grant development in higher science education, small business, government, and environmental and engineering consulting. In Vancouver, Washington, Hart Crowser hired geotechnical engineers Jim Alders and Joe Strobel. Alders has five years of geotechnical engineering experience with roads, retaining walls, and utility projects. He is working on the Barlow Point shipping Terminal for the Port of Longview and the United Salad Warehouse Expansion. Strobel has an MS from Portland State University and is working on high‐
rise projects at Hart Crowser. In Portland, Oregon, Hart Crowser hired Kirk Warner, geologist.
