• NET– 2015(I)/ARS Exam–2015 by ASRB
Last date: 18.05.2015
The Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) will hold a NET-2015 (I)
and Agricultural Research Service Examination -2015 during 25.05.2015 –
02.06.2015 in online mode at 23 Centres across India in a staggered slot wise
examination format as per the Rules and Scheme of Examination indicated in
the notification. Candidates are advised to read the notification carefully
before filling the Online Application Form.
NET is a qualifying examination for determining eligibility for
Lecturer/Assistant Professor in the State Agricultural Universities (SAUs) and
other Agricultural Universities (AUs) only. Candidates clearing the National
Eligibility Test will be eligible for Lecturers or Assistant Professors in the
SAUs/AUs. NET certificates will be issued by the ASRB to the qualified
candidates to enable them to apply against vacancies to be notified or
advertised by the State Agricultural Universities/Agricultural Universities.
SAUs/AUs who will satisfy themselves with regard to fulfillment of prescribed
conditionalities and consider them for the recruitment process for
Lecturers/Assistant Professors.
EQ: A candidate must possess a Masters degree or equivalent in the
concerned Discipline and specialization completed on or before 01.01.2015.
Age: A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years as on 01.01.2015.
There is no upper age limit for the National Eligibility Test.
Fee: Rs 1000 for General, Rs 500 for OBC and Rs 250 for SC/ST/PC category
applicants.
Mode of applying: A candidate seeking admission to the Examination must
apply online in the prescribed Application Form available on the ASRB
website.

Selection Process: All India Exam will comprise of Written Examination (CPO
- 2015) in two phases, Physical Endurance Test, Medical Examination
and Interview/personality test.
Written Exam: The Date of Examination is 21st June 2015 (Sunday). The
Deduction of 0.25 marks will be made for each incorrect answer marked on
OMR Answer Sheet.
Application Fee: Rs.100/- payable through "Central Recruitment Fee Stamps
(CRFS)" in case of Off-line or SBI Challan or Online payment through State
Bank of India for Online applications. No fee for SC / ST / Ex-Serviceman and

Applications are invited for Fulbright Nehru doctoral research fellowships
available for Indian scholars for 2016/2017 academic year. These fellowships
are for pre-doctoral level research offered to scholars who are registered for a
PhD at an Indian institution at least one year prior to the date of application.
These fellowships provide a monthly stipend, Accident and Sickness Program
for Exchanges per US Government guidelines, round-trip economy class air
travel, applicable allowances and modest affiliation fees, if any for six to nine
months.
