Healing Touch International, dba Healing Beyond Borders is
the non-profit professional membership and educational
organization, established in 1996, to receive the AHNA
Healing Touch Certificate Program and Healing Toucc
Certification of Practitioners (CHTP) and Instructors (CHTI)
from the American Holistic Nurses Association.

This Class
Prerequisite – HT Levels 1, 2, and 3
Prepares for becoming a Healing Touch
Practitioner and establishing a practice or
incorporating into existing work.
You will be Learning
Development of a professional healing practice
Sequencing of five private client sessions, intake,
three treatment sessions with mutual goals,
evaluation and discharge planning with full
documentation , recognizing energy patterns
Learning the case study process
Defining a Scope of Practice
Healer practice guidelines
Selecting a mentor: goals and roles
Journaling as a tool for self-enhancement
Developing a reading program
Full Body Connection ,Etheric Vitality Meditation
Initiation of a practicum (Documentation of 100
client sessions)
Purpose The purpose of this Level 4 Workshop
is to enable the participant to integrate case
management into a Healing Touch practice.

Instructor Bio and Disclosure
Mary O’Neill RN, CHTP, CHTI
Mary is a Registered Nurse, Certified Healing Touch
Practitioner and Instructor in private practice in St.
Louis since 1998. She is also on staff at SSM DePaul
Health Center providing Healing Touch to Palliative
Care patients. She is a member of Healing Beyond
Borders, the American Holistic Nurses Association and
Healing Touch St. Louis. Offering her skills in
leadership and service, she has recently completed a
six year term on the Board of Directors. The last three
years as President of the Board of Healing Touch
International, now Healing Beyond Borders. Mary is an
experienced and inspiring presenter on Healing Touch,
spirituality, wellness and self care. She teaches Levels
1 – 4 of the HTI Healing Touch Certificate
Program.
