ORGANIZATIONAL ACTION PROJECT
The focus of the Haslam College of Business’s Executive
MBA for Healthcare Leadership program is twofold:
helping you learn and delivering a significant return
on investment to your organization. You will spend the
entire year analyzing an issue facing your organization
that is outside of your day-to-day responsibilities. The
Organizational Action Project (OAP) will allow you to
extend your knowledge and deepen insights into your
organization and the healthcare industry. You will work
with a faculty advisor as you research, structure, and
implement the project. This thesis-like undertaking
has delivered considerable returns on investment for
sponsors and is a great example of the immediate
application that the Executive MBA for Healthcare
Leadership program offers.
“Working with the committed and
knowledgeable faculty, I was able to
develop a business plan and secure
financing with my Organizational Action
Project that has resulted in a memory care
expansion for my organization—creating a
new revenue stream and service line.”
