online with the Medical Clinic, Women’s
Clinic, Allergy, Travel and Immunization
Clinic or Registered Dietitian. Receive
your test results and exchange secure
messages with health center staff.
Complete required paperwork prior to
your appointment. Check your health
center financial account summary.

Billing & Health
Insurance
An individual should always bring
proof of insurance to each visit at the
Pat Walker Health Center. Charges not
covered by the student’s insurance or
paid at time of service will be billed to
their account at the Treasurer’s Office.
Student health insurance is available
through Academic Health Plans. Visit
health.uark.edu/insurance to contact
an on-campus representative, sign up or
receive additional information.
Primary Medical Clinic
8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday & Friday
8 a.m. - 7 p.m. Tuesday - Thursday
9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Saturday
Range of services provided by boardcertified physicians and advanced
practice nurses.
RazorCARE Clinic
8:30-11:30 a.m. & 12:30-4 p.m.
Monday - Friday
Quick diagnosis and treatment of minor
illnesses (eyes, ears, nose & throat
symptoms and skin conditions) with no
appointment necessary.
Allergy, Immunization and
Travel Clinic
8-11:30 a.m. & 12:30-5 p.m.
Monday - Friday
Provides allergy shots, immunizations,
travel consultations and tuberculosis
screenings.
Women’s Clinic
8-11:30 a.m. & 12:30-5 p.m.
Monday - Friday
An all female staff provides
comprehensive gynecological services
with expertise for the unique needs of
female patients.
Registered Dietitian
Available Wednesday and Thursday
by appointment
Students can schedule an individual
nutrition consultation at no cost.
Counseling & Psychological
Services (CAPS)
8 a.m.- 5 p.m.
Monday - Friday
The staff of CAPS works with members
of the University to help solve problems,
understand themselves, grow
personally, develop more satisfying
relationships with friends and family
and help with other mental health
issues. Services are provided by
licensed psychologists, psychiatrists,
counselors and social workers. CAPS
offers individual consultations, short
term counseling and psychotherapy,
group therapy, psychiatric evaluations,
emergency services, community
referrals and education and
professional training.

Department of Wellness and
Health Promotion
Inspires, motivates and supports
student self-exploration through
academic courses, outreach
presentations and events, training
retreats, peer education and wellness
coaching. The department is committed
to offering integrative wellness oriented
programs and services, grounded in the
principles of resilience and thriving.
Get involved by enrolling in an 8 week
course to learn how to live a healthy
lifestyle, joining a peer education group
or joining the student organization,
SHAC (Student Health Advisory
Committee).
