2015 DESIGNER APPLICATION
Thank you for your interest in participating in HighBall, lauded as one of the “ten best costume parties in the
nation” (USAToday Travel, 2014) and the “single most elaborate Halloween event in the country” (FOXNews,
2013). A key component of HighBall is the Costume Couture Fashion Show, in which designers create a
series of costume looks (three everyday, one couture), and present them from the Main Stage for a panel of
judges and an audience of over 15,000.
To submit yourself for one of the coveted slots for designers competing in the Costume Couture Fashion
Show, please complete the following:
• Fill out this application in its entirety, and to the best of your ability.
• Create a short video that is less than 90 seconds in length, introducing yourself and tell us why
you want to participate in HighBall. Upload your video to YouTube or Vimeo, and provide us
with the link.
• Be creative.
• Pull together between 4 and 10 photographs of your designs, and submit them along with your
application.
