I like to thank all those who have travelled to Tillicoultry today to help promote new links with clubs in the Central belt. Good luck to all those who are participating today. We hope everyone has a fantastic day. Kind Regards Hillfoots DO Participating Clubs This year we are hosting: Linlithgow, Kinross, Grangemouth, Glenrothes & Watsonians Each club has been invited to bring teams from P3 through to P7. All clubs, please confirm playing numbers during registration at the blue marque. Fair Play Hillfoots RFC are big supporters of Positive Coaching Scotland and Bill McLaren Foundation. We ask all teams to help make it a great experience & atmosphere for everyone involved. We will use the Central Festival PCS guidelines on Sunday. These guidelines will be available on pitch side notice boards to ensure clarity. If a non PCS situation arises on the day please contact Jp Ward (Hillfoots Development Officer) or one of the Hillfoots Coaching team & it will be dealt with immediately. 3 HRFC FESTIVAL INFORMATION PACK Rugby Format P1-P2: Will be located at the bottom of the Park closest to HRFC clubhouse. They will be taking part in joint training & rugby assault course. Please see map at the back of your information pack. All participating players will be split into groups where they will rotate round playing fun rugby games & conquering the Hillfoots RFC assault course. The P1-P2 will start at 1030am and will finish at 1130. This will give everyone enough time to watch the final matches and enjoy the amusements stalls. P3: Touch tournament will be located on the lower end of the football pitch on Pitches A & B nearest the play park. Please see map at the back of your information packs. Kick off 1030 Matches will last 10 minutes one way. Please find fixtures at the back of team information pack. We hope to finish our round robin tournament before 1200. We invite all teams from this age group to gather at the blue registration at 1200 for awards ceremony. Please could all coaches be on the lookout for: Player of the day, PCS Player of the day in each team and Club of the day specific to age group. I will be collecting player nominations throughout the day. Please remember to hand nomination cards to referees or assistants at the end of every game. 4 HRFC FESTIVAL INFORMATION PACK P4: Tournament will be located on the Football pitch on Pitches C & D. Kick off 1030 Matches will last 10-15 minutes one way. 6 Players max on the pitch at one time (Coaches digression). Please find fixtures at the back of team information pack. We hope to finish our round robin tournament before 1215. We invite all teams from this age group to gather at the blue registration at 1215 for awards ceremony. Please remember to hand nomination cards to referees or assistants at the end of every game. 6 HRFC FESTIVAL INFORMATION PACK First Aid First aid will be located at the big blue registration tent. If you have qualified first aiders attending on Sunday please make yourself known to the Hillfoots Rugby Development Officer. Hospitality All Participants will receive a burger voucher after registering accurate team numbers. All of our produce comes from local business along the Hillfoots. Our burgers come from Brian Devlin’s of Dollar and are renowned for quality and delicious taste. However one may lead to another so please bring £2.50 for extra one! To help wash down these delicious burgers please visit our tuck shop or hot drinks van to clench your thirst. We will also have: Chocolate tombola stall (£1 – everyone’s a winner) Tuck shop selling chocolate bars and juice Home baking Stall (30p small cakes or 50p big cakes) Hot drinks Van for our coffee enthusiasts Brian Devlin Butchers of Dollar Burgers- 100% beef (£2.50) Bouncy Castle amusements Please see Hillfoots pitch plan for location of all stalls. Photographs On Sunday we will have our local cameraman in attendance who will be taking pictures for local press. I will be sending out all pictures to clubs so make sure you get your team photographed. If you do not want you son or daughter photographed please make yourself known at registration. 7 HRFC FESTIVAL INFORMATION PACK Clubhouse The Hillfoots clubhouse will be open to all this Sunday. We have two very large changing rooms but space will be limited so we suggest players come changed and ready to go. The upstairs bar in the clubhouse will not be open for sales this Sunday. However it will be open to those who want to warm up or take a load off during the festival. To save the clubhouse floors please can all players remove their boots before entering the clubhouse. Please do not park your car on Lower Mill St. Central Police officers will be helping with traffic control on Sunday at the start and end of the festival to ensure efficient and safe departure. The Hillfoots Club car park will be closed to all on Sunday due to the limited room & to ensure access to local business in case of emergencies.
