CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT
THE HONG KONG GOLF CLUB, FANLING (EDEN COURSE)

This Annual Charity Golf Tournament is entering its 18th year and it is considered to be the premier IT
activity each year. Surplus resulting from this function will go towards the funding of the HKMA IT
Management Club Scholarship which is granted yearly to full time students, in need of financial assistance,
majoring in IT-related programmes at local universities and higher institutions. It aims at nurturing talented
students and encouraging students to pursue further studies or career in IT field.
FEES
Golf + Dinner
Hong Kong Golf Club Member:
HK$800 per person
IT Club Member:
HK$2,000 per person
Non-IT Club Member:
HK$2,500 per person
Corporate Flight:
HK$12,000 per flight (4 golf players and 4 dinner tickets)
The above fees include green fee and buffet dinner.

GOLF COMPETITION
Number of flights are limited and registration is available on a first-come-first-served basis. Absolute
beginners are not encouraged to join the competition (i.e. participants should have played at least two rounds
before).
Sets of clubs for hire are available at the golf shop. Please call the Golf Shop (Tel: 2670 0647) if necessary.
BUFFET DINNER
This will start with the Golf Competition Award Presentation Ceremony at 6:30 pm. Prizes not collected at the
presentation will be auctioned and the proceeds will be given to the scholarship fund. Everyone is welcome.
Bring your spouse, family, fellow workers, visiting relatives, consultants, customers and suppliers.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR ALL GOLFERS
The Tee-off times will be between 11:16 am – 1:24 pm. You will be notified of your tee-off time by email
one week before the golf tournament. Once tee-off times and groupings are confirmed, NO changes will be
accommodated. Please arrive at the first tee 15 minutes before your tee-off time with all your equipment
ready. If you miss your tee-off time, you will not get a game. Lockers are available in the changing room.
We will tee off rain or shine. (Final decision will be decided by the Hong Kong Golf Club.)
NON HKGC MEMBERS
Golfers who are not HKGC members should register when they first arrive at the first tee of the Eden Course.
You will be provided with a tag for your golf bag. Only with this tag will the starter at the tee allow you to
tee-off. You should purchase Debit Cards at the Reception which are valued at $100, $500 and $1,000 each
for settlement of expenses with HKGC including catering, halfway houses and caddies. Cards are refundable
before 6:00 pm and are valid for 6 months after the date of purchase. Expenses at the Reception and Golf
Shop can be settled by cash and major credit cards.

Note: The event will be cancelled in case Storm Warning Signal No. 8 or above is hoisted or Black Rainstorm Warning is in force. The event will
proceed if Storm Warning Signal No. 8 or Black Rainstorm Warning is lowered 2 hours before the registration time of the function. However, this
will be subjected to the final decision of the Hong Kong Golf Club
