Project Name: ADP
ADP is the leading service provider for automobile industry in America
The Challenge: Open office environment with individual privacy, few cabins ample
meeting and conference areas, visual barriers for managers, yet a connect to the general
staff. A system that would reflect the organization’s culture
The solution: It was agreed after much deliberation between the client architect and us
that the system to use would be Element our full height partition system that absolutely
reconfigurable both in terms of height and length.
The general staff area would be stratum a 50 mm partition system as the clients wanted a
sleeker system that would replicate the element system aesthetically and would cater to
their cabling requirements and in turn reflect the organizational culture.
The systems were designed for individual privacy with 25mm painted panels yet
maintaining an open office feel with partition height aimed at sitting privacy. Curved
worktops were mounted on support pedestals to save space and cost. The panels in
checkered pattern were used to pep up the overall look. To increase comfort levels of
employees engaged in task intensive jobs articulated keyboard trays were installed.
The problem of visual barrier for managers was solved using the element’s full height
system for cabins with glass panels, thus creating a barrier as well as transparency
between managers and staff. The cabin furniture was designed in veneer to give a richer
look. Conference room tables were treated similar to the cabins.
What makes this solution even more special is that the installation of 200 workstation, 21
cabins, 10 cubicles and 7 meeting areas was completed in just 5 working days!!
