Having trouble getting chords and rhythm together?
Playing good rhythm guitar is more complex than many people think when they first start on guitar. The Cave is a great example
of acoustic chord work; listen to how steady the rhythm is in the original. The down and upstrokes need to be played as shown
to get that effect. Bar-chords will be your main problem if you're not already okay with using them in songs. To learn more about
them, and about rhythm reading, chord changing & strumming techniques check out Modern Guitar Chord Styles Volume 1
- it has lots of good exercises and tips to help you master your chord work so you can play the songs you want to.
