Our Topic this half term is...
Seaside Rescue
The Y2 children are using the new national curriculum for all subjects apart from Literacy, Numeracy and Science. This is because nationally this year group will be assessed
on the previous curriculum in these subjects in 2015. Below is the outline of our half term; although we have planned what will be taught each week, this can change over
time as children take a shorter or longer time to meet each learning objective.

Thursday 18th June – SPORTS AFTERNOON – come along and support your child
Wednesday 24th June – TRIP TO WITHERNSEA – you will soon be receiving a letter with all the details
Thursday 9th July – Celebration of Work – drop in to school to see your child’s work books between 3-5pm
Tuesday 14th July – Y2 Leavers Assembly and medal ceremony 2.15 pm
Water bottles
Please can you ensure that your child has a named water bottle in school? These can be refilled from any tap in school. Thank you.
