In 2013, Pope Francis declared that a Year of
Consecrated Life (YCL) be celebrated throughout the
world. YCL will begin on the First Sunday of Advent,
November 30, 2014. It will close on the World Day of
Consecrated Life, February 2, 2016- Please keep those
who have dedicated their lives to Christ in your prayers
O God, throughout the ages you have called women and
men to pursue lives of perfect charity through the evangelical
counsels of poverty, chastity, and obedience. During this Year
of Consecrated Life, we give you thanks for these courageous witnesses of Faith and models of inspiration. Their pursuit of holy lives teaches us to make a more perfect offering
of ourselves to you. Continue to enrich your Church by calling
forth sons and daughters who, having found the pearl of great
price, treasure the Kingdom of Heaven above all things.

Holy Trinity. On this solemnity of the most Holy
Trinity, we affirm our faith that God exists as a
Trinity-Father, Son and Holy Spirit-united together in
love. Through Baptism and faith in Jesus, we have
been given a share in the divine life of the Trinity.
This being the case, let us seek to live in ever
greater unity with God and with one another.
