Have you ever wondered how your favorite authors can transport you into a completely different world? In this class, students will learn how to create fictional worlds. We will review story elements and read excerpts from fantasy books for inspiration. S333 June 22-25 Practicing the Four Types of Writing This class is perfect for students who wish to practice writing essays. We will review the four types of writing: expository, narrative, persuasive, and descriptive. In order to ensure the best writing possible, we will utilize the steps in the writing process, including brainstorming, pre-writing, drafting, and editing. This class will help prepare students for classroom writing assignments and writing tests. Students will end this class with an impressive writing portfolio! 8:00am-11:45am $50.00 0215-1641 Ins. Asia Willingham Loc. Ballroom C June 29-July 2 Adobe Photoshop (Ages 10-15) Turn yourself into an alien! Add a third eye to your face! This course shows you how to use Adobe Photoshop to perform many different image processing techniques. In this course, you will learn how to use several tools for selecting parts of images, and will move, duplicate and resize images.
