PKI 1 CERTIFICATE REVOCATION PROCESS

PKI 1 CERTIFICATE REVOCATION PROCESS
In our effort to continuously strive to improve the HUE with internal Honeywell IT and the new PKI
service we request your assistance in order to streamline for compliance and any future auditing
concerns.
Once you have successfully completed enrollment in the PKI 2 service by provisioning certificates in
Steps 1 and or 2 per your roles requirements, we ask that request to have your PKI 1 certificate revoked.
Also please note should you have any concern with the revocation. It will NOT affect access to your
legacy email messages that have been encrypted by the PKI 1 certificate.
We recommend adhering to the Honeywell standard email retention policy of 30 days, and considering
moving all legacy encrypted emails to either a secure folder or share point location, or at minimum
forward all legacy encrypted messages to yourself once you have the PKI 2 service for encryption
capabilities to alleviate future accessibility to said legacy messages.
Click this link PKIadmin to auto generate an email message addressed to the PKI support team for your
revoke request to be processed accordingly.
No further action is required on your behalf upon sending the email message requesting revocation.
Thanks,
Honeywell IT
