Home Sharing Program as of May 2015

Daly City – Furnished room for one person in a 2-bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment with wheelchair access. Owner is a
single mother and has a friendly dog. There is street parking and the apartment is near public transportation. Room is
$825 with a $450 deposit and shared utilities. Tenant must have a good sense of humor.
East Palo Alto – Furnished room for one person in a 3-bedroom, 2.5 bath apartment. Homeowner seeking a housemate
to exchange services. Owner needs assistance with housework and transportation. Owner is looking for someone who is
neat, pleasant and does not use drugs or alcohol or smoke.
Half Moon Bay – Furnished room in a 2-bedroom, 1 bathroom house. Rent is $900 with a $350 deposit. There is street
parking and nearby public transportation. Laundry is available and some kitchen privileges. Two persons are ok. Tenant
must be neat, clean, quiet and respectful.
Pacifica – Furnished room for one person who will share a 5-bedroom, 2 bath house in a quiet neighborhood near the
beach and public transportation. Laundry and street parking are available. Rent is $550 with $150 deposit; no pets or
smoking. Tenant must be clean, neat, friendly and respectful.
Redwood City – Furnished room for one in a 2-bedroom, 1 bathroom house in a family neighborhood with gardening.
Rent is $850 with $400 deposit, and utilities are shared. Laundry facilities, off street parking and public transportation
are available. Owner has 2 cats. Tenant must be mature, courteous, quiet, neat and clean.
San Bruno – Furnished or unfurnished room for one in a 3-bedroom, 1 bathroom house. Limited kitchen or laundry
facilities are available. There is street parking and the home is near shopping. Rent is $550 with $200 deposit. Owner
does not accept pets or smoking. Tenant should have a car as public transportation is some distance away. Seeking a
housemate who is there part-time.
San Carlos – Furnished room for one in a 2-bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment in the San Carlos hills. There is a
swimming pool and the complex is near a park. Rent is $1,000 with $500 deposit. Laundry and street parking are
available. Owner has a cat but does not allow other pets.
San Mateo – Living room accommodation for one person in a 1-bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment with. Rent is $600
with $500 deposit and utilities are shared and will be about $15 per month. Laundry, street parking, storage are
available. Public transportation is nearby. Owner will allow outside smoking.
San Mateo – Two rooms for rent in a furnished 4-bedroom, 2 bathroom house. Tenant would have two bedrooms and a
private bathroom. Rent for the two bedrooms is 1,495. Utilities are shared and laundry facilities are available. There is
street parking, but no public transportation. Owner does not allow smoking.

HIP Housing’s Home Sharing program. There is no cost to participate in the program.
