AMENITIES
YOUR RATE INCLUDES:
BEDROOM FURNISHINGS: mattress, extra-long
twin bed, desk, desk chair, and dresser
APARTMENTS ALSO INCLUDE: Kitchen table with
chairs, sofa, and living room chairs
SERVICES: Internet, cable TV and free laundry in each
building’s laundry room(s)
UTILITIES: Natural gas, electricity, water, recycling
and trash
PAYMENT INFORMATION
1) You may view your account information online in
Housing U via CIS. It is your responsibility to keep
the account up-to-date.
2) A payment is considered late if it arrives to HRE
after the due date or is paid online after the due
date.
3) Past due accounts will be assessed a $34 late fee
on the eighth day of each month the account
is past due and has a balance greater than $20.
Failure to pay will result in a HOLD being placed on
your University records and transcripts.
4) All checks returned for insufficient funds will be
assessed a minimum $25 charge. Any collection
fees required to close or bring the account up-todate will be assessed to you.
Please note: Any error in computing charges is
subject to correction. Utility rate increases granted
by the Public Service Commission may result in an
increase to the room rates listed above. You will
receive 30 days notice of any planned increases to
room rate
CONTRACT CANCELLATION
DEADLINE
2015 SUMMER TERM ONLY — Up to 72 hours
from the time of making your reservation (prior to 72
hours from making your reservation), you will be able
to cancel your housing by going into your HousingU
account and clicking on the Contract Cancellation tab
on top.
After 72 Hours, all students cancelling their contract will
forfeit the $200 Reservation Fee. After a student moves
in, individuals cancelling their contract will be charged
a Termination Fee, along with daily prorated charges
up to the day of Contract Termination (Student must
complete a Contract Termination Form and complete
move out). See the full Termination Fee schedule as
posted on our website housing.utah.edu or in your
contract.

if you do not sign up for Stayover.
If you plan to stay on campus between Spring Semester
and Summer Semester or Summer Semester and Fall
Semester, you will need to sign up for Stayover.
Please note: The Utah State Board of Regents reserves the right, if necessary, to change any fees and/or charges without notice. Any error in computing charges is subject to correction. You will receive 30 days’ notice of any planned increases to room or utility rates.
