It is your responsibility to keep the account up-to-date. 2) A payment is considered late if it arrives to HRE after the due date or is paid online after the due date. 3) Past due accounts will be assessed a $34 late fee on the eighth day of each month the account is past due and has a balance greater than $20. Failure to pay will result in a HOLD being placed on your University records and transcripts. 4) All checks returned for insufficient funds will be assessed a minimum $25 charge. Any collection fees required to close or bring the account up-todate will be assessed to you. Please note: Any error in computing charges is subject to correction. Utility rate increases granted by the Public Service Commission may result in an increase to the room rates listed above. You will receive 30 days notice of any planned increases to room rate CONTRACT CANCELLATION DEADLINE 2015 SUMMER TERM ONLY — Up to 72 hours from the time of making your reservation (prior to 72 hours from making your reservation), you will be able to cancel your housing by going into your HousingU account and clicking on the Contract Cancellation tab on top. After 72 Hours, all students cancelling their contract will forfeit the $200 Reservation Fee. After a student moves in, individuals cancelling their contract will be charged a Termination Fee, along with daily prorated charges up to the day of Contract Termination (Student must complete a Contract Termination Form and complete move out).
