Offline sealed item rate tender on PWD Form 6 & 8 is hereby invited by the
Executive Engineer IPH Division No. I Una for the following works from the approved and eligible
contractors enlisted in the IPH Department, so as to reach in this office on or before 30-03-2015 upto
03:00 PM and will be opened on the same day at 03:30 PM in the presence of intending contractors or
their authorized representatives. The tender form can be had from the office of the undersigned
against cash payment (non refundable) up to 01:30 PM on 30-03-2015. The tender documents can also
be downloaded from the HP, IPH Department Website i.e. www.hpiph.org and the cost of form
should be in the shape of DD in the favour of the undersigned be submitted with the tender failing
which tender will not be opened.
The earnest money in the shape of National Saving certificates/Time Deposit
Accounts/Saving Account in any of the post office in H.P. duly pledged in favour of Executive
Engineer must accompany with each tender. Conditional tender and the tender received without
earnest money shall be summarily rejected. The offer of the tender shall be kept open for 120 days.
The Executive Engineer reserves the right to accept/reject one/ all the tenders without assigning any

The application for tender from must be accompanied with the earnest money in proper
shape (non-exempted), copy of contractor’s enlistment, Income Tax and Sales Tax clearance
certificates from the appropriate authorities, failing which no tender form will be issued to
any contractor.
2.
No tender of the firm/ contractor will be accepted, if the firm/ contractor who have two or
more works pending to be executed under IPH Division No.1 Una . The undertaking in this
regards be submitted to this office with the tender.
3.
The tender of only those Contractors/Firms shall be processed who will produce the proof of
valid registration at the time of opening of the tenders.
4.
The Earnest money only in the shape of small saving instruments, or fixed deposit , duly
pledged in favour of Executive Engineer, I&PH Division No.1 Una OR certificate of
exemption of Earnest Money Deposit.In case of exemption of worth Rs. 3.00 Lakh the
benefitted will be allowed upto 6.00 Lakh but only by furnishing the necessary AFFIDAVIT
stating that the said EMD limit has not been exhausted earlier during the tendering in the
State.

The contractors must quote their rates in words as well as in figures, failing which their
tender case shall not be considered.

In the case of sudden holiday on the date of opening of the tenders the same will be opened
on the next working day.

The work should be completed in stipulated period.
The tender of those Firms/Contractors shall not be considered whose previous performance is
not found satisfactory.
