Hong Kong Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics Jiangsu Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics The 19th Annual Conference of HKSTAM 2015 The 11th Jiangsu – Hong Kong Forum on Mechanics and Its Application March 28, 2015 Hong Kong Call for Abstract Submission – First Announcement The 19th Annual Conference of HKSTAM 2015 in conjunction with the 11th Jiangsu–Hong Kong Forum on Mechanics and Its Application will be held at March 28, 2014 in the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. This conference is co-organized by the Hong Kong Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (HKSTAM), the Jiangsu Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (JSSTAM), and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). The conference topics cover mechanics and its application in all science and engineering disciplines. The conference will include invited keynote lectures (40 minutes for each lecture) and a series of parallel sessions (15 minutes for each talk). The due date for submitting one A4-page extended-abstract in MS word file to Dr. Gang WANG, the Secretary of HKSTAM, is March 1, 2015. It is very important to include personal information (i.e., title, authors, affiliations, email address) for the corresponding author and presenter in the extended-abstract. Please use the attached extended-abstract template in Microsoft Word format in preparing the extended abstract for submission. All accepted extended-abstracts will be included in the conference proceedings. Pre-registration with the attached registration form is required. Please send the completed registration form to Dr. Gang WANG at [email protected] as soon as possible. HKSTAM will send an invitation letter to non-local participants upon request. Registration Fee: Hong Kong full registration: HK$1,200/person (covering lunch, coffee break and dinner) Hong Kong student registration (with dinner): HK$800/person Hong Kong student registration (without dinner): HK$500/person The fee is payable in cash on-site at the conference.
