Message from Team Delhi
IASCON 2015 introduces a paradigm shift in medical conferences in India. For the first time, it is being organized
outside the country’s shores in Pattaya, Thailand. The idea is to showcase Indian Arthroscopy to the rest of the world,
particularly the South East Asian region. This will be a unique opportunity for our colleagues to interact with key
opinion leaders in the South East Asian region & vice versa, thereby providing multiple opportunities for training,
fellowships & building lifelong friendships to strengthen our presence in our neighborhood. Through this meeting
we will try to leverage the strength of our society to partner with fellow societies in the region. Regional arthroscopy
associations from several neighboring countries like Sri Lanka, Nepal, Indonesia & Thailand have already joined
hands & several more are likely to do so as we move ahead. The French society for shoulder & elbow surgery & the
Syrian arthroscopy society are our partners from Europe & the Middle East respectively.
We have strived our best in trying to bring out a balanced scientific program. The first day of the meeting (2 October)
is dedicated to moderated live surgeries through the day. The remaining 2 days (3 & 4 October) are reserved for
academic discussions, where the emphasis is on active participation by our delegates. We will start early (8 am) &
finish early (4 PM) so that the evening belongs to you for a relaxed networking in the serene landscape of Pattaya.
With sessions on “non arthroscopy topics” for a wider perspective on life, arthroscopy quiz, young surgeon award &
much more, there is a lot to look forward to.
We look forward to seeing you in good numbers in Pattaya.
