Side Event: 22 May 2015 at 6pm Monitoring the achievement of the health-related Millennium Development Goals “Building on the health MDGs – Ensuring the SDGs leave no-one behind” Venue: Salle IX UN Palais de Nations This panel discussion proposes to debate the challenges of the MDGs and discuss how current health indicators can better reflect disability as we move beyond 2015. The panelists will reflect on the opportunity offered by the SDGs to ensure equity for persons with disabilities into healthcare, especially when considering the impact of current health and demographic trends. It will also reinforce the landmark disability resolution of WHA66 and the subsequent Disability Action Plan 2014-2021 that can serve as major stepping stone towards achieving Universal Health Coverage.
