This fully interactive museum looks at the comedy through the lens of Red Skelton. Phase one of the Museum opened on July 18, 2013 and focuses on Red's life and the many characters, such as Freddie the Freeloader and Clem Kadiddlehopper, whom he brought to life through his radio and television shows. The Red Skelton Museum Gift Shop offers unique items including "Red" DVDs, signed and numbered acrylic reproductions of Red Skelton's paintings, logo t-shirts and more! 20 Red Skelton Boulevard (GPS Use: 100 W. Built in 1803-1804, it was saved from destruction and restored by the Francis Vigo Chapter of the DAR in 1911. Admission Information: $7.00/Adults, $6.00/Seniors 62+, $5.00/Children & Students George Rogers Clark National Historical Park features a massive granite memorial which commemorates the conquest of the Old Northwest Territory. The Memorial is located on the site of the former British Fort Sackville which was captured by Colonel George Rogers Clark and his army of 170 frontiersmen and Frenchmen. The moment of the fort's surrender on February 25, 1779 marks the birth of the United States north of the Ohio River. Docents are available to give tours during hours of operation. The park's Visitor Center is handicap-accessible and features exhibits, a gift shop and a 30 minute movie presentation. *Unfortunately the monument is not handicap accessible. 401 South 2nd Street, Vincennes, IN - Hours: Open daily 9:00am - 5:00pm. Admission Information: FREE and open to the public, donations accepted.
