Mechanical
self-cutting
Tim
Clothier's
Tim Clothier has taken the classic effect of
cutting one’s self in half and literally turned it
on it’s side. Mechanical Self-Cutting is his
newly re-envisioned & re-engineered design
of a torso-separation illusion in mechanized
Steampunk fashion, the way only Illusion
Projects can.
Tim Clothier’s custom artistic design addition for
Illusionist Hans Klok’s Mechanical Self-Cutting
The standing Magician is enclosed within an upright frame highlighted by
a giant gear-like mechanism . As the Magician winds the crank, a toothed
transmission sends his torso and head upward while his legs and feet
cycle downward, until his body is completely separated in two. Exits clean.
