The Florida Department of Education is conducting a survey for parents of students who have an Individual Educational Plan (IEP), receive Exceptional Student Education (ESE) services and are currently attending a Florida Public School. The survey is open now through May 31, 2015. Please complete this survey at: http://www.esesurvey.com Dr. Graham will be at IMS on May 13th & 14th for the 6th grade “Dental Sealant” program. Permission slips will be sent home in the near future. “The placement of sealant on the chewing surface of permanent molars is a cost-effective way to prevent tooth decay. By targeting 6th graders for sealants in a school setting, we ensure that the majority of second molars are evaluated and sealed shortly after they come in and the students’ time away from the classroom is disrupted as little as possible. Sealants are simple to place—no shots, no drills! We would like to see more parents take advantage of this opportunity to help prevent dental decay at no cost to them.” Upcoming Events: May 4th Civics EOC begins May 6th Geometry EOC Begins May 11th Algebra 1 EOC Begins May 12th 6/7 Awards Ceremony at 6:00 p.m. May 13th,14th Dental Sealants Clinic May 15th 8 Grade Dance May 18th 8 Grade IMS Awards Ceremony May 21 Early Dismissal May 22 Early Dismissal and Students Last Day Music Notes MUSIC NOTES MThe Inverness Middle School Music Department starts the month of May with the I.M.S.
