COMMUNITY MIXER LUNCHEON: Our next “Community Mixer Luncheon” will be held
this Saturday, May 2 at Kings & Queens Restaurant on Route 30 just past Route 281! Please
call, text or email me if you can attend. It is a great opportunity to meet with some of your
neighbors and discuss current events.
Mayor Miscoe has issued a May 2015 Newsletter of interest to all Lake users; property owners, residents, guests and frequent visitors:
http://indianlakepa.us/Portals/0/Newsletters/Mayor%20NL%20May%202015.pdf
All Borough e-News and Newsletters are available at:
http://indianlakepa.us/Borough/e-NewsCorrespondence.aspx
The Borough web site required an extensive rebuild and was relocated to new servers over the
winter. The improvements were necessary to reduce hacking attempts and improve security.
Functionality should be nearly identical and changes hardly noticeable, if at all. Performance
should be noticeably improved, particularly after your first visit to the reworked site. Should
you notice a problem, such as a page or link that does not work as expected, please let us
know.
As a reminder, please note the Smoke Signals Forum is still operational and a good vehicle to
ask questions, post newsworthy items, sell or buy items, advertise services, or just complain):

Hobie Holder 12 sailboat (not a catamaran) for sale. The Hobie Holder 12 and 14 were the
only single hauls created by the famous designer of "cats" – Ron Holder. It is 12' long and is in
excellent condition. It has a single sail mounted well forward so no jib is necessary. The mast
comes apart in two sections for easy travel. The fiberglass dagger board, flip-up fiberglass
rudder, tiller, and sail are in excellent condition! The boat only weighs 115 pounds. You can
sail it alone or comfortably with up to four or five people. The boat is just the right size for
Indian Lake. Although about the same length, the Holder is faster, dryer, and more stable
than a Sunfish. Feel free to do a GOOGLE search on a Holder 12. You will find that most are
selling for between $850 and $1000 or more. I am asking $650 (or best reasonable offer). The
reason I am selling is that we are moving without a lake readily available. There is no trailer,
but it could be transported on most any small single axle trailer, in a pickup truck, or on the
roof of a van (that is I how I carried it when I bought it). The boat can be seen at 1453 Peninsula Drive, Indian Lake. Phone: Dr. Tauber, at 352-212-5408 / email [email protected]. Posting May
