XYZ color measurement system
The XYZ colorimetric system is the basis
of all color measurement systems that
attempt to match human vision.Compared
to the RGB filter, the XYZ filter can more
accurately measure a wider color range. It
covers the color range of high-luminance
displays using Adobe® RGB and is ideal for
accurate color measurements.
*The International Commission on Illumination (CIE) is
an independent international standards body for measuring
light, illumination, color, vision and imaging technology,
which developed the CIE XYZ colorimetric system.

algorithm, optics and image processing
technology the RICOH CV-10A is able to
achieve highly accurate color measurements.
Lens area
By using high precision in-plane color measurement rather than
point measurements, Ricoh has made it possible to measure a
color area of 120 x 90 points in a single shot. This allows you to
decrease the “take time” and reduce the work involved in the
visual inspection of the production line. Additionally, these
small, lightweight devices are ideal for use in a wide range of
applications, such as color uniformity tests needed in the field.
