often take extra support and plenty of
practice for mother and baby to breastfeed easily. We’re here to provide the
support you need.
Thousands of mothers call us every year,
so we understand breastfeeding doesn’t
always go to plan. Even when it’s going
well, it’s great to meet and share time
with other breastfeeding mothers.
The Australian Breastfeeding
Association is Australia’s leading source
of breastfeeding help and information.
We have almost 50 years experience
helping mothers like you learn to
breastfeed.
If you need breastfeeding support, you
can call a local breastfeeding counsellor
at home or call the 24 hour
breastfeeding helpline on
1800 mum 2 mum (1800 686 268). If you
prefer the convenience of email,
counselling is also available at
www.breastfeeding.asn.au.
The new Online Breastfeeding Cafe
website
(www.onlinebreastfeedingcafe.com.au)
has forums where you can chat with
other breastfeeding mothers (with a
separate "private" forum just for dads),
along with up-to-date breastfeeding
information and resources.
