MELD
MELD is a collaborative production team creating temporary fine art exhibitions and events based in Boston. We
believe that food, art, and conversation are inextricably connected. Together we build opportunities to exhibit and
hire young artists as well as creating temporary spaces for the public to engage in the local food and art scene.
MELD is the liaison between the public and their local resources.

The Frienemy Project
Insecurity is a lack of understanding coupled with a distressing sense of vulnerability. It can be experienced by an
individual or imbedded into the very fabric of the institutional and cultural groups with which we identify. I call this
latter form, cultural insecurity. Utilizing video installation and performance, The Frienemy Project investigates individual and cultural insecurity and its effects on our thoughts and behaviors.

Fantastical Flowers
Fantastical Flowers is a collaborative residency at the Boston Children’s Hospital that will culminate in a sculptural
ceramic installation. The residency will be made up of a series of open workshops where children and visitors will
make 200 whimsical clay flowers. I am excited to share my passion for creativity with the kids at the BCH, and look
forward to seeing the wild things they will create.

Intimate Reality of Death In most families when a woman gives birth to a child, you dream about who they are going to be. The child may
become a doctor, teacher, and maybe even the President. But in a community where police will kill you based on
false allegations and the color of your skin, some mothers have bigger things to worry about. Within this project,
I want to interview a series of mothers that may have this underlying fear of releasing their children color to the
outside world.

Humans of MassArt
What would it be like to have an app for MassArt that would construct a better physical connection and form an
effective way of communication between the students, faculty, and staff? The purpose of my senior degree project
is to integrate the characteristics and perspectives of each MassArt individual, artist, designer, student, staff, and
faculty and build a stronger community (both digitally and physically), improve communication and sharing of
resources on campus, and construct an app that is fun, interactive, accessible, harmless, inclusive, and communal.
Look forward to the final result of the project and meanwhile, check out my “Humans of MassArt” Facebook page
(inspired by “Humans of New York”); it is an important part of my research to understand the importance of physical interaction while designing and constructing this app digitally. Thaddeus “TJ” Sadowski
Sculpture in Open Spaces
Sculpture in Open Spaces seeks to bring sculpture and artistic education to public spaces to create a temporary
exhibition of art, and a long lasting sense of community and creativity. SOS will engage people that might not have
the opportunity to experience outdoor sculpture, and focus on bringing the public together through the use of guided
tours and active artistic demonstration to foster discussion, and create a stronger artistic community.
