is huge, so if you’re feeling blue
don’t! You can’t possibly go
wrong with this one, from cobolt,
electric to aquamarine, there
are plenty of shades for you to
choose from. There you have it,
a teeny insight to what’s hot this
season. Now the ball’s in your
court ladies, so make me proud!
Two words, ‘The Alchemist’.
Having opened only 3 weeks
ago this place is already making
waves.
This is without a doubt one of
the more imaginative creations
to hit the city, offering something
unlike many of its neighbours
in the immediate vicinity. The
sophisticated, yet trendy layout,
is complemented by the shear
attention that has gone into the
menu, from laboratory-styled
beakers, vials, even kettles and
soda syphons, this is something
Leeds has never seen before!
Situated on the first floor of the
new trinity shopping complex,
it’s the perfect place to go for
a chilled lunch and a cheeky
cocktail then by night it will turn
in to your new guilty pleasure.
See you there…
Its time to prep that
wardrobe for this summer.
Spring/Summer 2013 is all about
letting your clothes do the
talking - foreign postage stamps
at Mary Katrantzou, Sicilian
folklore at Dolce & Gabbana and
colourful exaggerated leopard
print at Kenzo. Go bold, go
bright, go forth or go home!
Don’t be scared off… we do have
other alternatives. Monochrome
- it’s this season’s it word. This
minimalist trend was all over the
runways including Gucci, Marc

is perfect for those of you who
aren’t feeling too daring yet want
to make a statement, add a pop
of colour with your shoe choice
and you’re on to a winner! Aqua

What is the
biggest trend today?
I’ll save you some time by
answering this one for you, ‘Antiaging’. This stands as the leading
trend in the world to date. This
billion dollar industry has just
given birth to my new little baby
‘The Galvanyic facial’; this is the
future and it fits right in the palm
of your hand. The machine this
product is based on is
every celebrities best

have to be specially

Sounds like a lot of

do hope you enjoyed the Leeds

Since his City Dweller exclusive,
Isaac and the Company have

including Sheffield, Edinburgh,
Belfast and Norwich. The tour
ends at Sadler’s Wells where
they perform from 14-18 May.
What now? Northern Ballet
is proud to present Mixed

new work by internationally
celebrated artists realised by
Northern Ballet’s talented and
versatile dancers.
This year, Europe meets America
as Dance takes centre stage
with Northern Ballet’s Mixed

short ballets:
• Concertante
• Angels in Architecture
• Luminous Junc.ture
The company is delighted to
be working with award winning
Deutch choreographer Hans
Van Manen’s, his short classical
ballet, Concertante opens the
Mixed Programme.
Following that, the incredibly
moving Angels in Architecture,
by American choreographer
Mark Godden; this ballet is set
to Aaron Copland’s ‘Appalachian
Spring’ and explores the lives of
the American Shaker people.
In 2011, Kenneth Tindall,
Northern Ballet Premiere
Dancer, created his debut
piece Project#1 for the 2011
Mixed Programme, winning
the Bundesjungendballett
Production Prize at the 26th

There’s been a lot of people flogging dead horses recently, and the
greedy movie execs behind the Scary Movie franchise are no exception.
With a cast that boasts a who’s who of box office has-beens (and plenty
more that never were or ever will be), you know you’re in for a very
cheap ride that should have been shut down a long, long time ago, a
bit like the Never-Never Land Ranch. Fans can expect a series of rather
obvious and poorly executed pop shots at any film, celeb or TV show
that has been remotely popular in the last five years. Films that haven’t
even been made yet are not even safe from their desperate talons, as
Fifty Shades takes a few knocks. Charlie Sheen and Lindsay Lohan both
make an appearance. Say no more.
Britain’S Got talent
Don’t get me wrong, I love a dancing dog or a singing chimp as much
as the next person, but this show seems way past its sell by date to me.
I even quite like Simon Cowell, but how cruel to have people judged
by the likes of Amanda Holden? A woman famous for being incredibly
patronising, advertising yoghurt and rinsing Les Dennis. Switch over
to The Voice instead. Or, you could just avoid both and go out and get
drunk.

I was lucky enough to attend this year’s prestigious Oliver Awards and
proud to see my local, Yum Yum, scoop top prize for best lunch. Where
else can you go in Leeds for a decent feed and walk away with change
from a fiver? Beating off competition from some of Leeds best loved
restaurants, it really was a triumph. Nobody does a sweet chilli chicken
and pancetta sandwich quite like them and the burritos and Sunday
dinners are to die for. As summer approaches, I’m looking forward to
enjoying a tipple or two on their terrace.
the BotaniSt
The newest bar in Leeds is a welcome breath of fresh air, with a decent
outdoor seating area with open kitchen and a warm, homely, pub like
interior. The dining area looks as though Damien Hirst got hold of
your grandad’s garden shed (minus the dead animals thankfully) and
the drink menu would have David Bellamy frothing at the mouth with
excitement, using a variety of herbs and other weird and wonderful
things you wouldn’t expect to find in your cocktail. The hanging steak
kebab with garlic sauce is a must try from their food menu.
the Pour houSe
Tucked away, across the water from The Hop, The Pour House is slowly
but surely building up a reputation as a great little watering hole and
eatery too. It may be a pub that serves food rather than a proper
restaurant, but the U.S inspired menu has some quality options which are
far better than some of its more prolific rivals. Try the insanity chicken
wings or their homemade burgers, which they will happily stuff with
your filling of choice.

It’s take it or leave it when it comes to new shopping centres with
me, but many of the bars and restaurants in Trinity have really added
something a bit different to the city. Situated on the 5th and 6th floors,
each with their own sizeable terraces, London based company D&D are
really onto a winner with these two. Crafthouse specialise in steak, whilst
upstairs, Angelica offers cocktails and seafood. Perfect for a special
occasion or hot date, but only if they’re worth it I might add. For anyone
else, don’t forget Trinity also has a Nandos and a Burger King.

Black dresses traditionally
connote mourning and death
for many people, but there’s a
difference between showing up
to your best friend’s nuptials
in funeral garb and wearing a
sleek, little black number to an
evening wedding. As long as
the dress feels fun and light,
regardless of how dark it is,
you should be fine.
Sequins usually work, as do
black cocktail dresses for
formal ceremonies. However,
if there’s even the slightest
chance it could fit into a
procession for the deceased,
put it back on the rack and slip
into something more colourful.
many of my clients have told
me about, and comes from
having seen it happen before.
So, why not see about having
something made? If you can
design it yourself and have it
made to measure you know
it’s going to be unique so
eliminates the fear…
This can be said of headwear
too, but fortunately I share
my studio with Milliner Beth
Hirst of Couture Hats, so
realistically you could have
your entire outfit sorted in one
appointment eliminating any
fear completely.
For obvious reasons, it’s never
a good idea to wear anything
that could be mistaken for a
wedding dress. But, just like the
tradition against wearing black,
I think this rule can be broken
-- if you go about it the right
way. A simple, off-white dress
or skirt should be fine, and if
you want to be absolutely sure
you’re not stepping on any
perfectly manicured toes, have
a word with the bride. Make
sure your white outfit of choice
is dramatically different, so
if she’s wearing a full-skirted
gown, opt for something
simpler.
There’s also nothing worse
than turning up at a wedding
in the same outfit as another
guest! This is a problem that so

A WEEKEND ESCAPE TO LEEDS
City Dweller’s travel expert Yasmin Macis, checks out Bewleys Hotels unbelievable Fab Friday offer.
I love the buzz of Leeds city
centre, whether it’s blowing my
hard-earned cash in its cool stores
during the day or hitting the
myriad of bars and restaurants at
night!
It offers something for everyone
and I was really looking forward
to spending a whole weekend
there. Coming from a family of
hotel owners and running my
own business as a personal travel
advisor, I have tourism running
through my veins.
Over the years I’ve been fortunate
enough to visit hotels all over
the world, so grabbed a recent
opportunity to stay at the Leeds
outpost of the Bewley’s chain. It
was a new experience for me and
their Fab Friday offer of rooms
starting at £40, left me with more
to spend on retail therapy.
producing an inevitable wall-ofsound from packs of party animals
– thankfully, Bewley’s is tucked
away in a quiet backwater and
its rooms are soundproofed, so if
you’re on business and prepping
for that big presentation, you
should still enjoy a decent night’s
kip.
The first thing I noticed, as I trotted
across the lobby to reception,
was a welcome sense of space
and calm. I was greeted by a
refreshingly friendly receptionist 10 out of 10 for service!
After settling in my room with a
nice cup of tea - too early for the
inviting hotel bar! - I decided to
take a walk into Leeds.
Like any seasoned traveler, I
wondered if my room would be
of a similar high standard – no
disappointment there.
Despite staying in an oasis of calm,
I found myself just a few minutes
stroll from the train station and city
attractions.
Finally, an unexpected highlight
was dinner at the hotel’s Brasserie,
which was a real treat. The
restaurant is arranged around a
lovely central fireplace, making it
cosy and inviting.
The food was pure Masterchef and
I read on the website that they
source ingredients locally, with
meat reared in Yorkshire wherever
possible. The meal capped an
excellent stopover.
Thanks Bewley’s – I’ll be back!
For a 3-star hotel, Bewley’s
certainly punches above its weight,
my bedroom bright and spacious,
bed wonderfully comfy, bathroom
sparklingly immaculate -always
essential for a lady! - and the whole
feel upmarket and sophisticated.

GIRLS JUST WANNA

You would probably think two glammed up 24 year old girls with the expectations of a

Upon arrival, the friendly manager

We then came to the part of the

“One cannot think well, love well, sleep
well, if one has not dined well”
Virginia Woolf
San Lucus Tapas Bar, situated
at 40 Great George Street, has
opened with a much cooler and
low key launch than the previous
restaurant, Johnny Fontanes. City
Dweller, Jordan Fletcher went to
check it out.
Nearby to the popular bars &
cafés on Great George Street
and Millennium Square, the
restaurant has been transformed
from what looked like a warped
scene from Happy Days, into
something far more inviting.
I arrived early one Saturday
evening, and couldn’t help
but be impressed by the
drastic change the place had
undergone.
With a high ceiling, exposed
brick work, mismatched furniture
and an open kitchen, it really
does have a very Mediterranean
vibe whilst remaining very
modern at the same time.
We were greeted by a friendly
bar man, who swiftly pulled us
a pre-meal pint, whilst our table
was prepared.
It was a pleasant evening and
with the sun shining through
the full length window which
runs all the way round the

restaurant, you could be forgiven
for thinking you were actually in
Spain itself - if you’d had one too
many sangrias of course.
Look a little closer at some of
the décor, you will see some
classic advertising signs from
the 40s and 50s, it seems to
work visually.
We were handed menus by our
friendly waitress, who brought
over bread, olives and oil, while
we waited for our Bottle of
Rioja and decided our tapas
selection.
The choice is not huge by any
means but carefully selected,
making it quite hard to choose.
The specials board also had
some tempting options as well,
as did the wine list where prices
are a nice surprise.
After much debate (and a little
help from our waitress, Maria),
we finally chose six dishes,
Unlike their cousins around
the world, tapas are more
than just finger foods and
appetizers. Tapas’ is not a
particular type of food, but
rather a different way of
eating out.
The stand out dish was a tough
call, as the goats cheese with
figs (£4.50) was something

but it ended up being a real
showstopper.

which we were both happy with.
First up, was the classic patatas
bravas (£4.20), which are triple
cooked and you could tell. They
had that lovely crisp, wrinkled
skin which you don’t tend to get
unless you’re on holiday in the
Canaries.
The sea bass special (£6) arrived
in a generous portion and again
had lovely crisp skin but perhaps
could have done with some kind
of sauce to give it a little kick.
The chorizo in cider (£5) was
divine, and had the right balance
of mild spiciness mixed with
sweet.
It was also great for dipping
warm bread into. The slow
cooked lamb with rosemary,
thyme, cumin and red wine
(£6) was accompanied with
creamed potatoes felt more like
a traditional Sunday dinner, but
was incredible all the same.

Initially, we declined dessert but
our waitress recommended their
cheesecake and homemade icecream.
I’m not a pudding man but both
were excellent, although I could
barely move afterwards.
There are now a large selection
of tapas restaurants in Leeds
and I would highly recommend
you avoid the chains (not
mentioning any names of
course) and hit San Lucus for
the real deal.
Close to the Nuffield Leeds
Hospital & The Leeds General
Infirmary, and chilled enough for
a quick drink, its a great place to
relax whether you’re a doctor or
a student.

“Tapas’ is best defined as
the tradition of enjoying
small portions of different
appetizers and finger foods”.
The prices are very reasonable

I’ve received anywhere in a long
time. All good reasons to come
back.
It looks like this lovely building
has finally been given the
respect it deserves and I’m
pretty sure the Fonz would
approve and return despite the
lack of burgers and shakes on
the menu.

Why not start your night in the

With the simple aim to serve

The menu offers what you’d
imagine from any Pizza joint,
however it has a twist on
toppings and authentic wood

What really stands out on this
menu is low prices, with the
meats being locally sourced
you’d expect to pay more than
7 or 8 quid a dish. The large bar
area of Everyman caters for all, it
has group seating areas for larger
parties, cute little cubbyholes for
the more intimate encounter, and
the spacious terrace for those
warm summer nights (fingers
crossed!).
Part of the uniqueness about this
cinema is that you can sit back
and watch your film with a chilled
drink in hand, a white wine, a pint
of lager or a fizzy pop.

Aside from the shopping, I’m
absolutely loving the new bars

INDEPENDENT JEWELLER CHAMPIONS
WORKING WITH LOCAL BUSINESSES
phillip stoner the Jeweller opened the doors
of its newest boutique store in Trinity leeds.
The main objective when planning
for the new store was to create
a contemporary boutique
feel, in keeping with Trinity’s
breathtaking architecture, that
maintained a fresh and welcoming
environment for customers.
The outcome is a stunning mix of
granite, chrome, rich dark wood
and hints of deep purple, which
successfully creates a luxurious,
relaxed atmosphere, perfect for
shopping in.
Home to the jeweller’s Portfolio
of Fine Diamonds collection of
engagement rings, the store
also showcases exquisite pieces
from world-renowned jewellery

designers, Ungar & Ungar, Gerstner
and Phoenix Cut Diamonds.
Due to the stunning jewellery on
display, one of the most carefully
considered features of the new
store was the spectacular, glazed
shop front and interior displays,
which would need to be safe
and secure while maintaining
the beauty of the diamonds.
Championing the high quality
finish and excellent customer
service that local companies can
provide, Phillip Stoner called on
local glaziers, Halifax Glass Ltd.
Having previously worked together
on several projects, including the
jeweller’s first Manchester store
in 2010 and the expansion and
refurbishment of the company’s
Victoria Quarter boutique in 2012,
Halifax Glass Ltd. were once again
able to provide an excellent finish,
resulting in a truly breathtaking
store.

A: Dear Dweller,
If your general
health is ok and
there is no personal
or family history
of skin conditions
then there should
be no need to see
a doctor for this.
You need to look
at your fluid intake
to make sure you
are having enough
water to keep your
skin hydrated. Next
look at the products
you use for washing
and showering and
see if these could be
drying your skin out.
Finally, add a good
moisturising cream
to your daily routine
and this should help.
Failing that, if you
have given this a
decent trial, then
you could go to your
local pharmacist for
advice. Dr J.
Till next time.

City Homes
with
Jonathan
Morgan
Crispin Lofts is one of the
city centre’s biggest success
stories because just a year
after work restarted on a major
refurbishment programme to
create 82 stunning apartments
for the rentals market, the
building is now almost fully
occupied with just one penthouse
remaining.
The pace that the homes have let
is definitely a sign of the times in
a market with little development
activity and huge demand from
tenants looking for high quality
rental property. When this is
combined with a historic building
in a great location and smart
well-furnished interiors, developer
Rushbond’s ‘build to let’ scheme
THE FOCAL POINT
OF THE NORTHERN QUARTER
ticks all the boxes. Standing on
the corner of North Street and
New York Road, the building

developed state for more than

building for the city.
brickwork are ideally suited to
modern apartment living. These
features have provided fantastic
foundations and endless potential
to create a unique selection of loft
style apartments ranging from
studios through to three bedroom
triplexes.
Morgans has acted as letting
agents on the development and
we were always confident that it
would strike a chord with tenants
looking for a special place to
call home and we already have a
waiting list from people wanting to
move in as and when apartments
come available.
Most of the apartments are split
level, with mezzanine decks, high
ceilings and huge windows which
flood the space with light. Nearly
every apartment is different
to its neighbour and each one
is furnished to an exceptional
standard to create some very
distinctive homes.
The building is full of character and
history after originally being built
in 1915 as home to Henry Heaton’s
Clothing Company and then
occupied by HW Poole & Sons
Boot and Shoe Manufacturers.
Both were distinguished Leeds
based businesses and major
employers in the city – even today
there’s still lots of people in Leeds
who worked there.
Somewhat ironically, despite all its
history, its traditional features, high
ceilings, tall windows and exposed
To see people living in Crispin
Lofts in such a short amount
of time is absolutely fantastic,
especially when you consider this
time two years ago it was little
more than a shell. There’s a major
shortage of rental properties
available in Leeds city centre and
hardly any brand new apartments
that are finished to such a high
standard.
The remaining penthouse is one
of just three stunning triplex
penthouse apartments and is a
completely unique city centre
home. It’s furnished to an
exceptional standard and offers
well over a thousand square
feet of prime living space, three
double en-suite bedrooms and
three roof terraces that all offer
spectacular views over the city.
It’s generating plenty of interest
and it’s undoubtedly one of the
most desirable apartments in the
North of England.
The development’s success is
undoubtedly down to offering
distinctive and markedly different
homes in which to live; combined
with a great location and a strong
sense of local community, typified
by the fantastic array of shops,
bars, eating places and local
businesses that support the city’s
Northern Quarter.

The scheme is located in the heart

SURANNE JONES TO STAR IN THE 20TH
ANNIVERSARY PRODUCTION OF
BEAUTIFUL THING
Direct from its West End
run the critically acclaimed
20th anniversary
production of Jonathan
Harvey’s classic play,
BEAUTIFUL THING will visit
West Yorkshire Playhouse
for one week only, from
3 – 8 June.
The production stars BBC &
ITV star Suranne Jones,
Ex Hollyoaks heart throb
Oliver Farnworth and
BBC’s Waterloo Road and
Dancing on Ice finalist Zaraah
Abrahams.
Directed by Nikolai Foster,
BEAUTIFUL THING will run
alongside Foster’s production
SHERLOCK HOLMES – THE
BEST KEPT SECRET, in the
Quarry Theatre, this is the first
time a director’s work will play
simultaneously across both
stages at the Playhouse.
BEAUTIFUL THING is a glorious
urban love story between two
young men set on an inner city
housing estate. It tells the story
of teenager Jamie’s relationship
with classmate and neighbour
Ste. Together the two boys
find comedy, warmth and the
music of Mama Cass through
their loud-mouthed next door
neighbour Leah. The play
exquisitely depicts what it is to
be sixteen, in the first flush of
love, and full of optimism.
Suranne Jones will star as
Sandra, Jamie’s mother. Her
recent television includes two
series of the very popular
SCOTT & BAILEY as Rachel
Bailey for ITV1.
The show also stars Jake Davies
and Danny-Boy Hatchard. Jake
recently appeared in the ITV

The City Dweller team check out the latest
releases and live acts coming up this month
ALT- J
ALT-J have announced the
release of their new single,
BREEZEBLOCKS, on 20 May
2013 through Infectious Records.
It is the latest single from
their stunning debut LP, AN
AWESOME WAVE, released in
May 2012. The album is close
to platinum sales in the UK and
has sold an incredible 600,000
globally, making it one of the
biggest debut albums of recent
times.
In November 2012 they became
the winners of the prestigious
Barclaycard Mercury Prize,
The whipsmart, self taught 20 year old singer-songwriter from Bath,
Gabrielle has been writing and recording songs since she was 15.
and were also nominated three
times at this year’s BRIT Awards
for Best British Breakthrough
Act, Best British Group and
Mastercard British Album of the
Year.
Growing up in a (self
confessed) ‘hippy’ household,
where music was a family
staple, she honed her craft
listening to Joni Mitchell,
Bruce Springsteen and Nick
Drake.
ALT-J were also recently chosen
by the BBC as one of the artists
to soundtrack a revamped series
of idents for the BBC Two and
BBC Two HD channel, launched
to mark BBC Two’s status as
Channel of the Year.
The BBC has used instrumentals
of three ALT-J tracks, Something
Good, Intro and Fitzpleasure for
the three newly sound tracked
idents.
ALT-J will be playing to a
sell out crowd at Leeds O2
Academy 10th May.
At 17 she set up her own label
Never Fade Records (just
recently she announced her
first signing) and went on to
release 3 EPs, all of which
charted on iTunes.
Having sold over half a million
albums to date, THE PIGEON
DETECTIVES are back with WE
MET AT SEA, their first album in
two years.
These are the words of The
Pigeon Detectives singer MATT
BOWMAN, speaking when
the band had completed the
recording of the album. Having
already garnered a reputation as
one of the most raucous, thrilling
live acts in the UK, they have
siphoned this on-stage energy
into their most honest album yet.
“For the third album we almost
went against our instincts at
times,” Bowman concedes,
speaking of 2011’s Up Guards,
And At ‘Em. “On this one we
just wrote what came out, really
natural, we didn’t force anything,
and if something wasn’t good
enough we just threw it away.
Where possible, original live
takes were used; there’s errors
left in, it all adds character. It
just made sense to us to write
a record that will translate
live and create a rock and roll
atmosphere at our shows.”

Recorded in the band’s home

Pigeon Detectives abandon
their polished indie-rock for

The new album may sound

“I think people have been

the fact that I interact and

She adds. “It’s not as if

THE PIGEON DETECTIVES
“We’re a live band. That’s where
we cut our teeth, where we’re
most comfortable, that’s where
we have the most fun. That’s
where we made our name.”
Her debut Parlophone
Records single, a cover of
Frankie Goes To Hollywood’s
‘The Power Of Love’, went to
No.1 on the UK Top 40 Singles
Chart in December 2012 and
this, plus ‘Please Don’t Say
You Love Me’ and ‘Panic Cord’
appear on the new album.
“My song Home, for example,
just grew, people were
latching onto it. It seemed
like it was a special song. Two
years ago, my fans all seemed
to be 15 yearold girls. But as
my songs have grown, it’s
definitely broadened out.
Now it’s young girls who look
up to me, people my age who
can relate, then older people
who reference me to things
they related to when they
were younger. It’s a great
mix.”
She currently has in excess of
29 million+ YouTube views to
date.

it’s successful you’re gonna
have to sing it for the rest
of your life, and you’ll hate
yourself! You have to be
yourself.”
“People are also surprised
when I say that I’m working
with a massive pop producer
(Mike Spencer); they think it
might go a bit too far.
But it’s really not – I wouldn’t
let that happen - and he
definitely gets it.”
Gabrielle Aplin is a real girl
with real talent, and a brand
new star of tomorrow. Say
hello to a breath of fresh
air.
She will be playing the Leeds
02 Academy on 9 November.
COMpeTiTiOn

Rain’ is released on May 13th and, to

TAY COUSINS
As a result of the Warehouse
Leeds competition, Tay had
the exclusive opportunity to
perform at the high profile
launch and grand opening of
the Warehouse store in the new
Leeds Trinity shopping centre.
Adding extra kudos to the win,
Tay was especially pleased
to have been selected from
thousands of applications
that ranged from film makers,
singers, poets and bands.
“It was a wonderful opportunity
to be playing at Trinity and
a very exciting event. I really
enjoyed sharing my music with
everyone, especially in such a
respected establishment such as
Warehouse,” says Tay,

AGNETHA MAKES A UNIVERSAL RETURN
The songstress from ABBA
releases her new album ‘A’ on
May 13th. This coincides with
the new single ‘When You Really
Loved Someone’.
“I never thought that I’d ever sing
again. But hearing the first three
songs, I just couldn’t say no!”
States Agnetha.
With these words, one of popular
music’s most recognisable,
celebrated names of the past
forty years – Agnetha Fältskog
36 | City Dweller Magazine
– signals her return to the
spotlight.
Agnetha has been working with
renowned, Grammy-nominated
songwriter/producer Jorgen
Elofsson – who has been
responsible for hits by Britney
Spears and Kelly Clarkson among
others – and acclaimed producer/
arranger Peter Nordahl.
“She wanted to make music
again,” says Elofsson, “Basically,
she’s a musician, a songwriter/
singer who hasn’t done that for
a while. We saw her open up,
become much happier, with
music again in her life.”
The album features 10 tracks,
including ‘I Should’ve Followed
You Home’ - a duet with Gary
Barlow – and ‘I Keep Them On
The Floor Beside My Bed’, one
of Agnetha first co-writes in
many years: “I hadn’t written any
music for a long, long time,” she
says. “But I sat at the piano, and
suddenly it was there.”
