Explosions in the Sky and
Chemical Reactions

Kids will learn about the amazing force created
by chemical reactions, as they help release
a genie from a bottle and see some super
powered elephant toothpaste. Once we’ve
seen the power behind these reactions, we’ll
learn about propulsion firsthand as we launch
a model rocket. The fun doesn’t end when the
class is over, the kids will get their own gooey
reaction to keep and an action flask to continue

Video Game Animation 2
Children’s Choir
Participants will create a new game or add to
your previous video animation. New skills and
creative adventures await the experienced
scratch programmer! Students will get a copy of
their game after class is complete. (SF)
Winter Theme: "Songs of Many Lands". The
Geneva Children’s Choir is more than just your
average choir! In addition to singing a variety
of songs, weekly classes will include music
appreciation, ear training, actions and poetry
readings to complement the music. Students
will also learn early music theory concepts
such as pitch, rhythm, melody, harmony,
tempo, dynamics, piano topography and even
beginning notation on the music staff. Each
term carries a new theme and will end with a
special performance for family and friends. Please
note: we will also perform in various venues throughout the
community with performances to be announced.

own imagination, creativity, special digital movie
making cameras, software and SpongeBob™
Lego® sets, you will create your very own
SpongeBob™ movie! You will become a part of
a team of writers, photographers, directors and
producers and create your own story and script,
build various SpongeBob™Lego® scenes and film
your own movie. You will use graphic editing
techniques and stop motion animation, add
background noise and music, and show your
movie at a private screening on the last day of
class. All students will get a copy of their movie
