Nanjing Baima Agro Science Park

II. Project Description:
Nanjing Baima Agro-Park is located in Baima Town, Lishui County, Nanjing, with a total land
area of 48km2. Sitting right next to Nanjing-Hangzhou Expressway, Nanjing-Hangzhou
Inter-city Railway and Provincial Highway 341, it benefits from an unparalleled location and
convenient traffic. According to the blueprint, National Baima Agro Science Park includes a
core innovation park, a pilot high-performance ecological agricultural park, China Biological
Agricultural Valley and a number of general agricultural technology support facilities.
III. Total Investment Estimate: RMB50 billion
IV. Initial Cooperation Proposal:
The project is designed to foster innovation, R&D, incubation, exhibition and regional
business centers of leading Chinese and international agricultural organizations,
universities and research institutes. Specific business activities planned include
greenhouse farming, organic agriculture, new agricultural product R&D and cultivation and
blackberry/blueberry farming. It is open to industrial leaders from the organic agricultural
product deep processing, farming, snack, drink and nutrition food sectors.
V. Current Status:
Currently, in the core innovation zone, a component of Nanjing Baima Agro-Park, a number
of tenant projects have been completed, with more under construction. With regard to the
agricultural technology service zone, its functional planning has been completed, and

II. Project Description:
The Agricultural Valley has a planned area of 10,646 mu (709.74 hectares) in total,
including 3,000 mu (200 hectares) to be developed in Phase I. With an additional 1,000 mu
(66.67 hectares) of farming land, it is designed for the development of hi-tech biological
agricultural projects, including business incubation, R&D and production.
III. Total Investment Estimate:
RMB 150 million, could be made separately by component projects.
Construction Period: 2014-2018
IV. Initial Cooperation Proposal:
The Agricultural Valley--Intended for hi-tech agricultural projects, including gene tech-based
breeding, bio-feed, bio-fertilizer and bio-pesticide manufacturing projects, as well as
floriculture, TCM herb farming, mushroom farming, seedling R&D and circular aquaculture
projects.
V. Current Status:
The development plan for the bio-agricultural valley has been completed. 1,000 mu (66.67
hectares) of land has been transfer, while another 2,000 mu (133.33 hectares) is
undergoing transfer formalities. 50,000 square meters of farming facilities are in place. Six
enterprises are already operating from the site.

Xingdian Subdistrict is located in southwestern Pukou District opposite the city main across
the Yangtze River, adjoining National Laoshan Forest Park and Tangquan Resort.
Leveraging the technology, education, culture and human resources, industrial
infrastructures and favorable investment policies of both the district and the municipal
governments, the project is designed for the development of a pilot hi-tech agro-park.
Sitting along both banks of Sima River with a total planned area of 15,000 mu (1000
hectares), including a core section of 5,000 mu (333.33 hectares), the project will foster
hi-tech agricultural projects, greenhouse farming projects, leisure agricultural projects and
agricultural product deep processing projects.
Currently, a provincial standard pilot
agro-park and 3 municipal ones are already in place.

including a public technology service platform for the industrial robot sector. The industrial

The project is designed for the development of a robot industrial park at the north of
Fengshan Road in Gaochun Economic Development Zone (GEDZ) for the smart servo
control system, driving system and industrial robot decelerator sectors. Leveraging
cutting-edge technologies and unique resources, it will drive the industrialization of robot
technologies and pool businesses along the industrial chain to build a leading robot
industrial park in the Yangtze River Delta and even the entire country. With a planned area
of 2km2 in total, the industrial park will be developed in two to three phases to facilitate R&D
and manufacturing activities. Specifically, Phase I involves a total planned area of 500-600
mu (33.33-40 hectares), including 50-100 mu (3.33-6.67 hectares) for R&D facilities, and
400-500 mu (26.67-33.33 hectares) for plant houses.

The project is owned by Nanjing Jingke Transmission R&D and Manufacturing Co., Ltd.,
which is installing a new 1,000,000 units/year CVT production line with a total investment of
RMB3.8 billion. The project is designed for the manufacturing of metal belt CVT series
products using the CVT design, control and manufacturing technology and patents owned
by Luoyang Ruineng Transmission Technology Co., Ltd. Upon completion, the project will
be able to churn out 1 million metal belt CVT units for cars and generate RMB8.5 billion in
sales each year.

IV. Initial Cooperation Proposal: The project is open for joint development, cooperation
and investment service.
V. Current Status:
So far, 6 standard plant houses in Jingqiao Industrial Cluster have been rented for the
project. Currently, plant house design and production line upgrade are underway. Another
1,200 mu (80 hectares) will be acquired, including 217 mu (14.47 hectares) in Phase I, 500
mu (33.33 hectares) in Phase II and 500 mu (33.33 hectares) in Phase III. 500,000 square
meters of new buildings and facilities will be built. With well-established infrastructures and
a unique location, the industrial cluster is able to meet the requirements of tenant
organizations to shape an industrial cluster.

With convenient access to river, road and air transportation services, it is the gateway to
Shanghai, Zhejiang and Anhui. The project is designed to facilitate the development of the
new energy vehicle sector, and to provide growth potential for businesses along the
industrial chain. Currently, it is home to a number of industrial leaders, including BYD,
Chuangyuan, and an engine plant of Chang'an Automobile.
