(It will not meet May 3.) It is held on Sundays during the Sunday School hour (9:30 a.m.) in the Mary Telfair Chapel. The objective of this class is to introduce interested persons to the history, doctrine, practices, and people of our church. All are welcome. Nursery will be provided. Church Cooking Classes W.O.C. Church Cooking Class #3 continues on Tuesday, March 24, in the Fellowship Hall. Cost $10 per class. Please sign up if you are planning on attending. For information, contact Kay Heritage at 912-480-1656 or [email protected]. We will learn Event Planning tips, appetizers, plus other cooking tips. Foods will include: Vietnamese spring rolls (hands on), beef sliders, cucumber canapes, spring salad with edible flowers, and chocolate bread pudding. Egg Hunt & Breakfast I.P.C.’s Egg Hunt and Breakfast is Saturday, April 4, at Point Pleasant. The pancake breakfast begins at 9:00 a.m. with the hunt to follow. Please R.S.V.P. for each person attending the breakfast and the egg hunt by calling the church office at 236-3346, completing a pew card and dropping it into the collection plate, or emailing [email protected]. You can also register online at www.ipcsav.org/forms.We want to make sure there is enough bacon for everyone! This is a great time to bring neighbors and friends. Bring a dozen plastic eggs and candy for each child that will be participating in the hunt and the I.P.C. Youth Group will do the rest! Candy collection boxes are located around the church or turn your eggs and treats into the church office. Easter Lily Orders Orders are now being taken for lilies to be placed in the sanctuary on Easter Sunday, April 5. These may be given in honor or memory of individuals. The cost for a lily is $15. Please make your checks payable to I.P.C. (mark “lily” on the memo line). Forms are available in the bulletin on Sundays or you may email [email protected]. You may also register online at www.ipcsav.org/forms. The deadline for orders is March 29. Session/Diaconate Meeting There will be a Session/Diaconate meeting on Monday, March 23. Session will meet at 5:30 p.m./Diaconate at 6:00 p.m. They will meet jointly at 6:30 p.m. in the Admin. Bldg. Dead Theologian Society The Dead Theologian Society (M.R.C.) will meet this Thursday, March 26, at 6:45 a.m. for breakfast at Laurie’s Restaurant or for lunch at noon in the Admin. Bldg. The Living Vine’s “Women’s Day of Blessings” The Living Vine is hosting a “Women’s Day of Blessings” at the Isle of Hope United Methodist Church, Savannah, GA. on Saturday, April 11, 2015, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The speaker is Becky Turner, who is the former Development Chairman for Georgia Right to Life.
