The rates of wages and fringe benefits to be paid to each class of mechanics by the
Contractor and all Subcontractors shall be not less than the wage and fringe benefit
rates prevailing in the locality (Ingham) in which the Work is to be performed in effect
upon award of the contract. Prevailing wage and fringe benefit rates shall be
determined in accordance with the schedules published periodically by the Michigan
Department of Consumer and Industry Services pursuant to Act No. 166, Public Acts of
1965. A copy of the current rate schedule is available from links above for convenience
of reference. The term “Contractor” shall include all lessors, general contractors, prime
contractors, project managers, or trade contractors, and all of their contractors or
subcontractors and person in privacies of contract with them.
