The following activities will take place:
Ÿ Diving Course – Theoretical & practical lessons (2 in the swimming pool and 5 dives in
the sea by boat). All necessary material and equipment included. Open Water
International Certificate presented at the end of the course.
Ÿ Visit to the Dalí Museum.
Ÿ Barbeque and disco.
Open to:
boys and girls from ESO 3 to Baccalaureate

Location:
Carpe Diem Club in Cadaqués, accommodation in apartments with terrace, fully equipped
kitchen and TV for a maximum of 6 people. Use of open air swimming pool, restaurant –
sea view terrace and tennis court.

This new activity enables boys and girls to
enjoy their favourite sport in an
international atmosphere and totally
immersed in English.
In the morning theoretical and practical
sessions to improve English level and in the
afternoon take part and enjoy different
sports to perfect the basics of the chosen

sport and encourage socialising with other
participants.
A full day and half a day excursion every
week e.g. London River Cruise, Windsor –
Eton College, Oxford Christ Castle, Roman
Baths Museum, Cheddar Gorge etc.

basic technical tactics, skills etc.
Ÿ Team and individual sports e.g. paddle tennis, football, basketball, volleyball, handball,

football and a physiotherapist to ensure the health of all participants during the Camp.

OBJECTIVES
Ÿ Re-sit examination preparation (Secondary and Baccalaureate).
Ÿ Revision and consolidation of work (Primary 4, 5 & 6, Secondary and Baccalaureate).
Ÿ Learning in different subject areas e.g. English, mathematics, etc.
ORGANISATION
Ÿ Small groups according to subject and level. Each level will have an hour a day for each
subject.
Ÿ Possibility for individual support.
Ÿ Secondary and Baccalaureate students who have attended the Directed Study Course will
be able to present themselves for examinations at the end of July and, if they pass, their mark
will be taken into consideration for the September evaluations.
Ÿ Coordination with teachers for each subject.
Ÿ Possibility to use the Library between classes.
Ÿ Possibility to combine Directed Study Course and other activities in July.

IN ENGLISH
LESSONS
Fun activities to promote oral expression, increase vocabulary and gain confidence when
speaking in English. Students will enjoy three hours a day of English workshops with native
teachers.
OTHER ACTIVITIES
Discovery of the world, group games, gymkhanas, games and different art activities, drama
and theatre to stimulate creativity and imagination with swimming and night activities.

(Home to Home was founded in 1992 by a group of native English teachers and parents
with the objective of fostering the learning and practise of English.)
Place:
Roc Blanc Hotel in La Molina, in the Catalan Pyrenees mountains, surrounded by prairies,
forests and nature excellent for walking and hiking. The Hotel is equipped with a swimming
pool and large spacious areas for doing all kinds of activities. It has large lounge and games
areas with a dining room with a buffet totally adapted to children.
