INTEGRATED SCHOOL
Bulletin No. 005
15 June Monday, 2015
GOD’S WORDS FOR TODAY (Mt. 5: 38-42)
The Holy Gospel according to St. Matthew,
Jesus said to His disciples, “You heard that it is said, “An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. But I say to you, offer no resistance
to one who is evil. When someone strikes you on your right cheek, turn and offer to him the left. If anyone wants to go to law
with you over your tunic, hand him your cloak as well. Should anyone press you to service for one mile, go with him for two
miles. Give to the one who asks of you and do not turn your back on one who wants to borrow.”
Reflections:
If we want to follow Jesus and be true Filipino Christians, He is asking us through today’s gospel to walk an extra mile, to go to
the other side of the fence, to be generous in giving service to others. In our self-giving may we do it without reservations. Jesus is
a very demanding person. He is not asking a portion of us but the totality of our person. The reason is that He, Himself gave up
everything for our salvation. We may be like a dot in the majesty of the universe but nevertheless; Jesus suffered and died for our
salvation.
Prayer:
And so we pray,
Father, help us to be forgiving especially to all those who hurt us so much. Give us strength to carry our tasks and responsibilities.
We asked this through Jesus and the Holy Spirit One God Forever and ever Amen.
St. John Baptist de La Salle…….Pray for us! Live Jesus in our hearts………… Forever!
MISSION VISION
“To be a sign of faith as an excellent educational institution, sharing in the Lasallian mission of teaching minds, touching hearts
and transforming lives.”

FROM THE OVCAD – INSTITUTIONAL HEALTH SERVICES:
Continuation… Diet and Nutritional Tips to Stay Healthy in Monsoon Season
 Opt for yogurt, curd and almonds in your diet instead of milk. Drink only boiled and purified water to protect yourself
from harmful germs and drinking plenty of water keeps your body hydrated.
 Consuming bitter vegetables like bitter gourd, and bitter herbs like neem, turmeric powder and methi seeds help in
preventing infections.
 Consume drying oils like corn oil or light oil and avoid heavy oils like sesame oil, peanut oil and mustard oil as they fall in
first place to invite infections.
 People who face skin allergies during rainy seasons must avoid spicy foods. Spicy foods raise body temperature and
stimulate blood circulation and it leads to allergies and skin irritation.
