The participation fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
All participants must fill the registration form given in this circular for
the 30th ISMAS-SS-PROTMET-2015. The details of e-transfer are
needed while completing the registration form for the Summer
School. The registration form may be xeroxed, if required. The
participation fee should be transferred to ISMAS account by electronic
transfer only, as per the details given on the website as well as given
in this circular. No other mode of payment of participation fee is
acceptable.

The participants can also arrange their accommodation independently
in hotels near CCMB/IICT (close to Uppal Road). These participants
will have to make their own arrangement for transportation to CCMB
Lecture Hall. The participants who are offered accommodation in
CCMB or IICT guest house will have to bear the charges and this
accommodation will be on the basis of double occupancy with twin
sharing.
Since the number of participants would be restricted, the enrolment for
the summer school will be on first come first served basis. Participation
fee for the accompanying person, if any, will be the same as that paid
by person attending the Summer School
SCOPE OF SUMMER SCHOOL
The Summer School would comprise of Lectures in the forenoon and
practicals/demonstrations in the afternoon at IICT and CCMB. There
would also be special lectures by instrument manufacturers
highlighting the advances in instrumentation with reference to the topic
of the summer school.

There would be a Special Session “Unconference” on the last
day, when open forum discussions will be allowed for the participants
and by the participants.
Some of the topics to be covered during the Summer School include
the following:
Proteomics: General, Quantitative Analysis, Post Translation
Modifications (PTMs), Clinical Applications, Enrichment Methods for
Phospho-peptides, H/D Exchange, Method Development for Glycoproteins, Bioinformatics etc.
Metabolomics: General, Sample Preparation, Quantitative Analysis,
Imaging etc.
Instrumentation: ESI-MS, MALDI-TOF, MS-MS, SIMS, LA-ICPMS,
AMS etc.
