Laboratory Testing
IU Health Methodist Medical Plaza Eagle Highlands offers many lab services. Most test results are available
within 24 hours, however, some tests call for special processing and may require additional time. Patients
will need an order from their physician before we can complete any tests.

At our location, we offer the following radiology services:

Computed tomography (CT) scan
A board certified radiologist reads all exams, and reports are made available to the ordering physician,
usually within two business days after the test.
Radiology exams performed at all IU Health Methodist Medical Plazas are kept on different types of
storage media. Not every exam is kept on hard copy X-ray film. If you need a copy of your exam to take
with you to a physician, we would be happy to provide you with a CD of your images. We may need 24
hours notice to be sure your exam is available to be picked up. Please contact the site where your exam
was performed for more information.

Outpatient Surgery
Eagle Highlands Surgery Center is a multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center (ASC) and is located at Eagle
Highlands Outpatient Center. A variety of specialty services are provided, including general surgery,
endoscopy, gynecologic surgery, orthopedic surgery, pain management, plastic surgery, podiatry,
ophthalmology, otolaryngology and urology, using our fully equipped, technically advanced operating
rooms. If you are interested in scheduling your procedure at this facility, you must schedule this through
your physician’s office.

Scheduling Information
You will need to schedule an appointment for most radiology tests, including screening mammography,
ultrasound exams, CT scans and MRI exams. It is not necessary to schedule an appointment for laboratory
tests, except in the case of a glucose tolerance test.
With the exception of screening mammography, patients will need to provide a physician's order for all
tests performed at IU Health Methodist Medical Plaza Eagle Highlands. This order may be turned in at the
time of testing or faxed to us from the physician's office before your appointment.
Women who desire screening mammography will need to provide the name of your physician so that a
results report can be sent to him or her. Please call us at 317.329.7274 or 317.962.3580 to schedule a
screening test.
All patients must be registered before proceeding to radiology or surgery departments. Please bring your
insurance/Medicare card(s) with you each time you visit the facility.
