– JPL and the Jacksonville Aspiring Writers Group are co-sponsoring an evening with Suza Kates, author of the Savannah Coven series. Ms. Kates (her pen name) was born in Jacksonville, Alabama, the youngest of five children. Growing up surrounded by siblings and parents who were bookworms, she naturally developed a love for the written word. After attending JSU, she pursued a lifelong dream to live abroad. During a long, German winter she entertained herself by writing her first book on notepads and was hooked for life. She now resides in Savannah, Georgia, the gorgeous city that inspired the Savannah Coven Series. She is currently working on two new series with the help of her three cats who fight the laptop for lap space, steal sips of coffee, and randomly walk across the keyboard just to keep things fresh. Ms. Kates will be bringing books to sell and will gladly autograph your copy. Please join us for a fun-filled evening of book talk.
