Rules and Regulations at Jagriti
Booking & Cancellation:
1. Jagriti reserves the right of allotment of dates.
2. On confirmation of a booking at Jagriti, an agreement will be sent by Jagriti that must be filled
and signed by the designated representative of the company.
3. Bookings are confirmed only on payment of the full registration amount and 12.36% service tax *
or on realisation of the online transfer.
4. The registration fee paid is for the use of theatre only. Use of any additional space in the theatre
premises for any other purpose will be charged extra. The prevailing rates may be checked from
the office.
5. The show timings are 11am to 1 pm on a Saturday every month. All shows must begin at the
stipulated time. The first bell will be rung 20 minutes before the show begins. Latecomers will
not be permitted.
6. The registration fee must be paid, online or by Demand Draft within 7 days from the date of
signing the agreement. The registration fee is non-refundable.
7. The company should specify a Single Point of Contact for all production related matter. A Jagriti
representative will liaise with the SPOC.
8. The company must provide a copy of the required license/censor certificate to screen the
film on confirmation of the booking. Jagriti is not responsible and is not liable in any manner or
form for the content of the film, its originality, copyrights and veracity of facts,. All matters
regarding screening of the film is the sole responsibility of the film maker and the producers of
the film.
9. For films that require Entertainment tax, a copy of the tax receipt must be sent to Jagriti. No
screening will be allowed without valid licenses.
Company Materials:
1. All publicity materials (posters, brochures, etc…) should be sent to Jagriti upon confirmation of
the screening date. Jagriti is not responsible for the damage or loss of any material – personal
and/or show related.
2. All the company’s publicity materials should be cleared from the theatre within 1 hr. after the last
screening.
3. No night set-up is allowed.
4. Nailing, painting, pasting on stage or anywhere within the theatre is not allowed.
Ticketing:
1. The standard ticket rate is Rs. 200/-.
2. Tickets are available only at the Jagriti box office or on www.bookmyshow.com. Printed tickets
are not allowed.
3. The event will be posted by Jagriti on www.bookmyshow 2 weeks prior to the screening. *
4. The Ticket Counter will operate from 10.30am to 2pm and from 5 to 8pm. Monday is a holiday.
Technical Details:
The films for screening should be compatible for the following specs:
1. Films should be provided in the common extensions of .mp4, .flv, .avi, .wmv
2. Jagriti providesTwo NEC M260X projectors,3000 lumens, Two 6' (1830 mm) x 8' (2440mm)
motorisied screens.
3. The use of microphones is not allowed.

4. Prior permission from Jagriti is required for photography and videography.
Miscellaneous Rules:
1. The seating capacity at Jagriti is 200. Jagriti reserves 10 seats, which may be released if required.
2. Jagriti discourages any payments/tips/gifts to any of the staff members or agencies employed by
Jagriti.
Sponsorship Rules:
1. Jagriti must be informed of any sponsorship for the film. Prior discussion and approval is required
on the display of sponsorship collateral in the foyer.
2. Jagriti does not allow display of any sponsorship collateral or branding inside the theatre.
3. When talking to a sponsor, please ensure that the following rules are clearly communicated and
understood:
a) All branding must carry the name of the sponsor as ‘presenting (name of film)’.
Stand-alone banners of sponsor names/products/services will not be allowed.
b) Only one standy (6’ X 3’) is allowed in the foyer.
c) Jagriti reserves the right to remove any branding if it deems such branding unethical or
un-aesthetic.
d) Activities that involve stall or kiosk space will be charged extra.
Jagriti reserves the right to modify, add to, delete from these rules. In case of any dispute the
decision of the Jagriti Management is final.
*Conditions apply:
 The tax amount is subject to the prevailing tax rate applicable during that time.
 Jagriti is not responsible for delays caused by www.bookmyshow.
